Understanding the Christian view on how Christian husband abstains from sex with his menstruating wife would NOT help you to understand the holiness of God unless you know that the Christians are under the Law of the New Covenant, then you would know that under the New Covenant, Christians are guided daily by Jesus as to how to stay holy[=clean] in every aspect even menstruation. You need to read the New Testament and ask Jesus whatever you want to know.

On the day when God was to meet up with Musa, the True Allah also wanted the Israelites[600,000+] as witnesses for Musa being appointed as the prophet that received the [OLD] COVENANT from God in Exodus 19.

1] I believe wisely Exodus is the Word of God because Musa wrote Exodus as instructed by God; and because Musa had 600,000+ witnesses TO TESTIFY THAT GOD APPOINTED MUSA AS THE PROPHET OF THE TRUE ALLAH..
2] Read the whole of Exodus 19 for true understanding. God instructed Musa to sanctify[=make holy] the men in Exodus 19:10 and Musa told the men to come not near their wives in Exodus 19:15 till the third day.

forgive me for I havent found any online site on sunan Abu Dawud. anywy, in the Qur'an, Allah says: "They question thee (O Muhammad) concerning menstruation. Say: It is an illness (a harmful thing), so let women alone at such time and go not in unto them till they are cleansed." (2:222)
I think u know that we Muslims refer to the Qur'an 1st before the Hadeeth.

Law under Musa is under the OLD covenant, and Law under Jesus is New covenant which is renewed OLD covenant mentioned by prophet Jeremiah 31:31-34.Hence, Jesus did not contradict !
When a COVENANT was given; it was followed by sacrificing a lamb. For the OLD covenant, a lamb sacrificed; and for the NEW covenant, Jesus was sacrified as the LAMB.

okay.. 1st part, its of that hadith that we come 2 a conclusion that Semen is not one of 'najjis', that means u can pray even if there's semen on ur clothing. its not the same as urine.
for the 2nd part, Muhammad SAW puts his head on Aisha's thighs. he DIDNT have sex with her. anywy this gives conclusion tht a Muslim don't do extemes, like how Jews stay VERY far away from their wives during 'mens' and Nasranis have sex with wives EVEN during 'mens'. :)
