How could the Solstice be easier to live with day in and day out if it really has no usable trunk with the top down, while the Miata has a trunk that is unaffected by dropping the top?

You don't buy a sports car because you want it to have soft suspension and a comfy interior. You buy one for pure driving enjoyment. By the looks of things, that makes the MX-5 better any day.

@BHFProductions don't forget the mx5 is a one trim one hit wonder the solstice was availble in 2 levels this one and the gxp, which comes with tighter ratio's tighter suspension gripper tires and a turbo (alias R.i.p)
