  • Awesome vid. Unfortunately you can't see sh*t!!!

  • Monkey fish frog

  • Lungfish= Every creationist's worst nightmare.

  • @mmmmmarcus Why? Can't God create a fish with lungs?

  • @shadeng1 Evolution is FACT. Be gone with your retarded fairytales.

  • @shadeng1 hmm... why create a fish that can breathe in the air but barely move around on the ground? why only give this to a small minority of fish species? why not give all land animals gills as well? hell why need gills in the first place (or lungs), why not just make it so we can extract oxygen from water with our lungs... or hell why even need oxygen at all... what a hindrance oxygen is!

  • @DjDedan Far from being a hindrance, oxygen is more like biological rocket fuel. Chemically it's extremely energetic. The thing about gills/lungs is all about oxygen density. Water can't hold as much oxygen as air. To do higher-energy things requires a more direct absorption route, which isn't possible in water.

Granted, this fish isn't particularly spectacular, but then again, it doesn't have to be. It's alive, it's breeding, there is no reason for it to stop doing what it's doing.

  • @TrollOfReason great info, but i was being sarcastic in response to what was probably either an ID or creationist remark (i forget now)... i was being a bit heavy handed and it was a complete waste of time (now that i look back on it), but i didn't know that about oxygen so i guess it wasn't all a waste after all! many thanks!

  • @shadeng1 because God is a story parents tell their kids so they won't be afraid of death... not a scientifically proven fact. in short he is as real as Santa and the Easter bunny

  • I remember BEING there when this was filmed !! We provided the 'stunt' lungfish that were used in this production - David Atenborough is a ledgend of a man !

  • @l28power Wow! Did he come to your area? Or did you work for him?

  • @robomantis - I went down south to provide assistance in capturing the lungfish used in the documentary. David was a bloody ledgend.. The dinner table stories he told us were amazing..

  • @l28power I want to know how they film stuff! Simply amazing! Like there segment on the bumble bee. I want to know how they filmed that.

  • @Thatsthebadger1 Wonder with so much air man never evolved to fly without any aid ... no evolution here eh evolutionist ... suddenly .. man dint become a fish .. man cannot fly ...

  • @lcemanl You wonder about that do you... so the goal of evolution is to fly? Or to become fishes again? Where you born in a barn or have you never read anything about the theory of evolution?

  • @jollyhop Thats one woman . . . there are more men in politics which reflects well on how screwed up everything is. .!

  • @jollyhop ahahah good one

  • Does anyone know of the name of the program David Attenborough did.Where he was shooting really great up and close footage of animals. And at time's using Elaphemts to carry camera's .i'd love to buy it in the store but don't know the name . THANK U so much

  • "Planet Earth"?

  • Thanks for yr reply, I found out it was ''Tiger Spy in the jungle'' (there is other animals involved, not just tigers )If you haven't seen it...I'd highly recommend it.Brilliant camera shots and the very interesting & never seen before behaviour.

  • Great, I'll check it out. Thanks.

  • life in cold blood

hay mate my boss hung around with him for 3 days

  • Kinda bad quality i can't really see the fish. But I'm amazed at the QLD government. How can they just sit there on their fat arse's and just kill endangered species like that? Do these people have hearts?

  • @loglog7 if animals don't evolve they die; who are we to temp evolution...

  • @Orical001 Is that sarcasm?? Theres species that have been around since the jurassic period eg: Chondricytes (sharks and rays), They can coexist with different species because they either dont occupy the same niche or there "primitive" structure is enough to cope with newly evoloved predators, parasites.....

  • What a shame it is going to be wiped out by the QLD state government building a dam right where the Lung Fish lives!
