It is such a short piece, yet Julia places so much colour, tone and feeling into this composition. Wonderful to listen to. Thanks for sharing this.

@DeArmeStudent Thank you! I'm not the only one that feels that! She is technically flawless, absolutely beyond reproach in her performance. Maybe that's the problem. It's like listening to a machine.
I just have this feeling that she hates what's she's doing deep down inside and she's doing it for someone else, and I can't shake it. Like she'd rather be sewing a quilt, or catching a fish, or blowing the side off a mountain. Well, and alone, and with no violin in sight.

@WarholVirtuoso It is called a flesch chinrest. I, personally, find it really comfortable but it has an acquired taste. Hope that's helpful.
