Well, I used to like that song. But it really sucks...because I will hardly call myself a "wretch." So go ahead, insult yourself. Speak for yurself!

Amazing Grace is a song that was written by a man who felt he was a wretch. He had been a slave trader. He had sold humans from Africa and had an epiphany that made him see that he must stop. The Grace healed him and taught him to see the light.... YOu are not a wretch - neither was he - but he had been living a very evil and wretched life. He found his light and wrote this song about it. Thought you might appreciate the truth behind the harsh term wretch:-)
