I remember when this came out, I was 18. I stopped smoking for a couple of months because of it. Then I fucked up and started again and didn't quit again until I was 27. That one lasted a whole year and I fucked up and started again for a few months. I haven't touched a cigarette in 5 months and plan on keeping it that way. The point is that it's hard to quit smoking, but it can be done. just don't ever give up the idea of quitting and you'll eventually succeed.
