@mrskillz8910 lol, a few friends that happen to be LEO's have seen my vids. Trust me, they were not thrilled, but at least applauded the fact I NEVER do anything stupid when traffic is around. If I'm going to act like I do on a bike, I make damn sure to do it away from anybody. Even though a crash screws up alot overall, not just me, I still accept the risk and act respectfully any time other than the few moments I push my skill levels. ;)
@mrskillz8910 haha yeah i mean, it depends on who you got stopped by if you ever get stopped. some probably wouldnt care, some would write you for wreckless motor vehicle operation, but its not really a big deal anyway. nice bike!
They are awesome cars and awesome bikes, very comparable in all regards. Best wishes finding your machines man, it's well worth it when you get what you really want. ;)
I have a '98 F3 that I am absolutely in love with. Sure it may not be as fast as some of the newer 600's, but I have plenty of rope to hang myself with. With some sticky tires and an aftermarket pipe (mine has a Yoshi RS3) you can have a lot of fun with one of these little bikes. Mine has about 53k on the ticker and it still runs like a top.
Yeah, he was pretty new to the bike at the time of the film, I had just chopped a few inches off the muffler too. Alot of abuse and the 2nd gear syncro took a crap and the bike ended up getting parted out.
i had the chouse off a F2 and F3 both had 50k on the clock and both had new yosmimora exsors. the f2 nice but f3 realy stnads out. porfomas is beter comfor is better. sound off F3 was amassing. so thats the one i got. mine is a 1995 F3. grate little bike.. othere thing was i could here a wird clunk sound on the F2 so maybe that y i not buy?? F3 thow grate fun to ride and ok on cost, mananes
Being I have only owned an F3 I would say the F3 would be the better bike due to the few revisions they made between the F2 and F3. The F3's cam chain tensioner fails less often and when it starts to go it gives much more warning. If you save the 1500 you may spend more than half of that getting the bike sorted out. The F3 isn't that much more bike for the price, it remains a choice in your hands. The F3 is more modern but not by much.
@dutchfreaker probs to late now but statistically if your looking for speed the f3 is the fastest before 04 dunno past 04 (from a magazine article ) as u seen from coments is comfy and can be as loud or as quiete as you need mine has a stubbie with no baffle sounds as beefy as some 750s and others have some street legal leo vince that are quiete as mouse
another question i had was comfort for both rider and passenger, i hate it when my wife rides with me on the bike i have now. She peridically smashes my u know what on the tank when stoping. i realize a crotch rocket is what it is and not designed for comfort but how is this bike comfort wise being thats its not a rr? thnx for input
Comfort is up to the owner. I have been on bikes that feel like living room furniture. :-P The F3 is by far one of the more comfortable sportbikes out there, but what are you comparing it to? A Ninja 250 or 500 is much more all day long comfortable, most Ducati Monsters are even more comfortable than the CBR and Ninja. It's really up to you what makes you happy and comfortable. I prefer a more upright seating position personally. Only way to know is to sit on one.
I moved up from a ninja 250 and I like the seat better on the cbr f3. While sitting upright was nice, the seat was too narrow for my fat ass! lol My only complaint on the f3 is my hand gets tired easier but that is solved with a $10 throttle rocker. The other bikes I've been on are a 05 gsxr 600, 08 zx6, 03 busa, and a 2009 triumph speed triple. Of those the triumph was more comfortable but lack of windscreen gave me a headache and the then it was the busa.
Right on man, you have this comfort thing dialed. Quite the range of sport machines you've been on. I could list off the ones I've ridden but we would be here until next week. ;-p
By far the 07 GSXR1000 fit me well, didn't feel too cramped, but the way it forces you into a half race tuck 99% of the time so as to not be riding squid style lock arm'd was rather annoying. The F3 tends to be more forgiving than most other sportbikes on the lower back and neck in my opinion.
Regardless of what ANYONE tells you, understand this is a championship winning machine and there are people that will tell you a CBR600F3 is a good starter bike, maybie a good starter track bike, but overall, it has stellar performance, it can reach a radar indicated 165mph and will corner with the latest and greatest when running 170/55-17 rear and 120/60-17 race slicks! The F3 is a VERY potent and very capable bike! Enjoy every minute of it! They are worth every penny! Btw, A.T.G.A.T.T.!
Awsome man! I love to hear there are other riders out there that believe in a ride not only being fun but as safe as possible! Motorcycles are a wonderful past time and presently my entire life revolves around them, it is a lifestyle worth living for!! =)
Full exhaust system, everything has been messed with a little. Redline? I dunno, factory tachometers are junk, I think I read somewhere it's set at 13,250 on the stock bike.
2nd gear is toast, the owner was REALLY hard on the bike and the transmission reflected the red line shifts to 2nd in no time.
Overall, after this summer, TocTuning is done with pure sports machines on the street, it's too much bike, were talented enough to use it, so, time to leave it be and let the videos fade away.
sweet sound, one thing though, when he takes off across the rail road tracks, i would watch out, cause the metal can get slick and if you break loose while in a hard pull it could be bad.
LOL check out the latest video of the CBR called TocMadMan. TONS of sideways action, we live to get the rear end out and the railroad tracks are expected to be slick, he was pretty comfortable with the situation, but thanks for the care of another riders well being, your a good person! ;)
TOC Tuning "one-off" fully original system. It started life as a "two brothers" unit and evolved into the track ready system your hearing here. It's much too loud for the average rider, but, if you a hardcore performance junkie like us here at TOC Tuning, the sound is heaven on earth! The Bandit 1200S in the mechanics possesion has a TOC system also and the wheelie video gives a good sound of the system there too. XS interceptor has a TOC original as well as the GPz600 video too. And the cars 2.
Fuck this i like this sound! :P

lovely sound,,, she is great in the corners too,, but i am still hooked on my busa ,,, ride safe
oxxzeusxxo 2 years ago
Right on bro, the cornering was phenominal! Scratch a puck anywhere anytime if you want with such a winning chassis!
The "big" suzi's are an addiction! My bandit's was unbelievable and the busa has to be twice the insanity!!
We are ATGATT riders too man! Safety is key when in a sport with so much risk.
