On the subject of sortof unresolved, dreamstate films, If you haven't seen either.. check out either version of "SOLARIS".. Either the 3-hour long Russian version, or the 90 minute George Clooney version (that FEELS like it's 3 hours long).

Likewise, either version of "The Manchurian Candidate". These are the two instances of films that I can touch on, where the remake is neither particularly better or worse than the original.. just different.
