  • RAY COOPER!!!

  • Hi, can you tell me from which concert is this video

  • what the hell...i really been born to late....name 2000 gitarists for me please....

  • @musicselectionP we don't have to name 2000.. since the best 2 are in this video right now

  • Ils ont de l'or dans les mains : Extraordinaire !!

  • wonderful old blues...and Clapton a realy bluesman..

  • what kind of people are those three unhappy dislikers ?!

  • @WAZvladD Ce sont des extra terrestres ... probablement !!

  • The bluesman :P :P

  • It's all a matter of personal tastes peeps. Rolling Stone Magazine didn't agree either. They list MK as 27th. Where they dug up that number I have no clue but some between 27 and 1 I don't agree with but again, it's personal choice. nothing more, nothing less

  • ec is right he plays the same riffs all the time each time a little differant

  • this is Eric at his best. he plays the blues so well it can make a person feel the music. Still think Knopfler is the better guitarist though

  • @trubowspiritwind I honestly don't think it's a question of who's better, MK or EC. They are both phenominal. I think each one's guitar speaks a different language, that's all. I do think that EC has been through more levels and types of music that MK. He seems to have settled back to where he bagan and where his heart seems to be....Blues. Have you seen MK playing with Chet Atkins?? Check it out.

  • I think that's Pino Palladino on Bass

  • cheers to all of them...fantastic sound..absolute feeling in their tone..and in Clapton's voice...

  • BoOoOoOom hummmm

  • And look who is on drums - Phil Collins!

  • The first man in the history of the universe to make the tambourine look like the most difficult instrument to play on stage

  • jool holland on piano !!!!!

    clapton knopfler on guitar !!!!

    phil collins on drums !!!

    Awesome !!!!

  • @KNOP49 god1 god2 on guitar !!!!*

  • Can I get it on DVD from somewhere?

  • dream team

  • jools on piano!

  • The old man with the sun glasses is crazy

  • Clapton does all the solo parts but I love the fill ins by MK.

  • You know the magic's gonna happen when Clapton takes his customary couple of steps back from the mic...

  • cazzo che roba. roba forte ragazzi.

  • es Collins en la bat?

  • es Collins en la bat?

  • this is the best blues,

  • Clapton has that nerdy look here. Then he begins to play and you're like: "Whoa, that nerd can play!"

And since when did Uncle Fester plays a mean tambourine and wear shades?

  • nike polo shirt and side-pockets pants...a little inappropriate

  • @treishtrei

    Listen to the music.

  • isnt that also phill collins??????????? niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiceeeeee!! :)

  • Is that Jools Holland on piano?

  • Both of these guys have solidified themselves as being true greats of the guitar. Clapton is a god on that thing.

  • Phil Collins really kicks it !

  • only two words matter here.

    Mark. Knoplfer

  • Clapton. Knopfler

  • @Volendammtje and Collins

  • @Volendammtje + phil collins...amasing!

  • @Volendammtje Knopfler.Clapton :P

  • @xxxBlueBeexxx Knopton, Clafter. :P

  • oh yeah!!! pure old blues!!!! Clapton is God!!!!

  • phil collins :B

  • :B

    :B

    :B:B:B

  • Eric clapton expresa el sentimiento del blues tocando notas increibles que salen del corazon eso si es ser gitarrista.

  • Not just HER book but HIS as well. You sound like a bitter mysoginist. I hope you HAVE given up women by now and have gone to play for the other team 'cause you sound like a bitchy queen

  • The real treat is Mark Knopfler on the rythm guitar. Awsome sound.

Erics solo on this is ok but far from his best work. when it comes to blues solos I heard a lot better. Mick Taylor would have a field day with this song. Dont get me wrong, Clapton still rules.

  • i agree with u 100% there are lots of guitarist who play blues and they all sound somewhat same, in this video clapton is playing blues which many blues guitarist does it same!! mark is the only guitarist whose sounds different from all the guitarist and i don't think anyone can say any different, when mark plays any note it has meaning he doesnt try to play thousand notes with no purpose.

  • Clapton is one of the two or three greatest guitar players of all time period. If you don't understand that you don't get rock music and you certainly don't get the blues.

  • totally agree with you there 0RockOn. the sound of MK's playing is like no other, and thats why hes my favorite guitarist

  • mick taylor is good but a real blue player is srv

  • First time I've ever had the blues leave me absolutely breathless ... this performance is definitely breath-taking ...

  • Yeah, really great stuff, it also contains mark knopfler playing "brothers in arms" and "money for nothing", fantastic.

  • don,t forget that BEHIND THE SUN is a collaboration between phil collins and eric clapton. And the album is produced by phil collins.

  • i got this on dvd. Music for Montserrat, The Royal Albert Hall, 1997. Great stuff!

  • Looks like the albert hall on London, I wouldn;t have thought more than 3 years ago, also to note Jools Holland on piano and Phil Collins on Drums.

  • Fantastic music by the one and only Eric Clapton

  • Magic in a small packet

  • What Concert is it?

  • God playing a golden guitar

  • Golden guitar indeed
