cruise ships crew can't help you they don't know how. Fortunately they sail mostly in open water. If a ship of this size or larger hits something while way out at sea it would have been even more catastrophic because the crew would not be able to evacuate the ship. Not their fault they just do not know how to get 4000+ people off the ship safely when the top heavy over sized sea going hotels get into trouble!
