One can't help imagining what is really going inside their minds as they speak. What I saw is:

Chopra: (trying really hard) "Well, maybe I can get this guy to say something to support my nonsense... and then edit it out"

Kaku: (while giving this guy some basic knowledge) "Hmm I'm hungry. I think I´ll get a burger after this thing"

Sure he would be humorous about it and he always tries to bridge the gap between religion and science to allow both sides to come to some mutual understanding of each other. But still, Sagan would have at least said, "Ummm, no biology doesn't work that way. You are mistaken." Kaku never did that...

Chopra has proven time and again that he's making stuff up as he goes along, throwing in some 'sciency' words to intimidate his gullible audience. Invoking principles of quantum mechanics to sell some flavor of solipsism is a classic example.

With Kaku it's his far-out futurism in which he presents technological fantasies as 'being right around the corner', something you can only get away with on FoxNews, Coast-to-Coast AM and the like.

My introduction to Kaku was by way of Art Bell and his outlandish radio show. Having heard many a show since then, I have to agree that much of what Dr. Kaku says is pretty much the same. Even his documentaries are very much alike.

it's inherently stagnant when you have to appeal to the lowest common denominator when making these shows or giving these interviews. I have no doubt his PHD is well deserved but that's the price you pay when you want mass appeal. He's the modern day Carl Sagan

Actually a lot of people have surpassed Einstein in their understanding of physics and in this information age it becomes harder and harder to pass yourself off as "the next Einstein" since information is easily accessible now whereas in Einstein's time it wasn't. This is why I'm less skeptical about more recent scientists like Michio Kaku.

Michio did not even try to answer the questions, he just heard a word in the question and gave a prepared lecture on it. Similar to what a politician would do. He could not think of a polite way of saying cells are not mystically connected or similar to quantum entanglement as deepak was trying to get at. I like both of these guys a lot but they are not speaking the same language here. Seems like a waste of an interview from thsi clip.

I would assert Michio understands physics, both quantum and standard, better than Einstein. Einstein just didn't have the time he needed.
