Filipinos have to stop believing that they are special. We have to stop spouting out boasts that we are the best and instead work on being the best. Perhaps our goal at the moment should not be being the “best in the world.” Rather, let us work first to stop being something the world pities, and finally become something the world praises. And we should not make pride our goal. Rather pride is a consequential reward earned from doing it right.

It’s a habit of Filipinos to boast something about their country or culture. But one can spot problems in these boasts. For example, Filipinos boast their large extended families, implying that a big family is good; but foreigners will laugh at these Filipinos draining their bank accounts and maxing out their credit cards to support such a big family.

That’s the problem with Filipinos. They like to boast and say that they’re the best in something, claiming that it is a benign national trait. But when someone criticizes them, even constructively, they get mad and play out their victim mentality. They think the whole world is jealous of them and pulling them down, when in fact they pull their country down with their own bad habits and poor decision-making.

@PangulongMarcos Yep. In the PI they kowtow to white people but are horribly rude and arrogant to anyone else, even other asians and other filipinos. So depraved and arrogant. I had the misfortune to encounter the way they treated people when I HAD to travel to that godforsaken country. Never again will I go there if I can help it. I was lucky I didn't end up like the tourists on that bus though. The PI police were so stupid and incompetent, they got all those poor people killed.

@PangulongMarcos Not everything there in the PI is bad, though. For example, the women would have sex with anyone. You can go there and have sex with anybody, it's so easy and so are they. Not just the prostitutes in the bars but just regular girls too that you meet on the street. It was unbelievable. I've never been around such promiscuous females in my entire life. If the PI wants tourists to go over there, they should advertise that fact. It was the best thing about the country.

@PangulongMarcos It's not just that. I noticed They want to get out of the PI so badly, they'd have sex with a donkey if it had a bank account and citizenship in another country. EVERYBODY in the PI wants to get out however they can. The women want to marry a foreigner to do so because the country sucks so much. Moreover, most of them are catholic, so they're already super loose & slutty. It's no big deal for them to do it with lots of men and hope one will take them away - like sexual roulette.
