@urbandubz: Guess I was in a lazy frame of mind. Frustrated with a tune I was working on at the time and looked to see if there were any decent sample packs. Checked out your uploaded vid and realised, what I was working on wasn't so bad after all. I know how to use and program synths, I can play guitar and keyboards and I'm currently working with a female vocalist. Not everything we've done is great but some of our stuff is better than this. I'd love to prove it but can't for copyright reasons.

Sucks to say, but flstudio is the loudest program i know of. i dont even use it, but everything ive ever heard come out of it s#it on other levels. thats probably why lames choose it

sometimes it is just better to get on with loops and samples, and let the creativity flow. then make things your self later. It is easy to get tagged onto creating the sound yourself. plenty out there have done very very well out of doing it that way.

hmm a real producer would create his own sounds, you have full control over your sound to tweak and it sounds much better.. samples should only be bought for drums.
