@KingDylan234 These are the King's Royal Guards so I suppose they don't always carry a musket everywhere they go, they are an elite unit in the kings army and sometimes act as bodyguards to the king, i quess a sword or "rapier" is handy for that job, search up musketeers in wikipedia if you what more info...

I always crack a smile when all the Musketeers come out to back up there comrades, that's just a great moment. I also found it funny that the same group who were going to arrest and imprison them in the opening get there asses handed to them by the Musketeers at the end. Goes to show you that the Cardinals Guards weren't much by way of soldiers.
