  • This & Kaze Kiri are my two favorite Ninja themed games (even though the character here is a samaurai)

  • this game was GREAT, but not that difficult...

PC engine has games that are much much more difficult than this...

  • @analphabetik PC Engine mode was not that difficult, but arcade mode was a bitch! One hit deaths. . .

  • I've received a copy of Ninja Spirit from TurboStar for the TurboGrafx-16 that SuperPCEngineGrafx gave me. It's a tough game, indeed, but I have found it to be an enjoyable title, and is one of my favorites for the system. You're a pretty good player for this game, from my judgement, since you've implemented some good techniques in the video, Sunteam_Paul. I'd also say it's a pretty good port of the arcade version, since it looks to perform some aspects impressively well, too.

  • The end of this game I still can't figure out. You're falling and all of these ninjas are jumping upwards. It's suicide!

  • I've found an effective technique for this. What needs to be done is that once you've reached the edge of the cliff, with the Rising Dragon Sickle and Chain weapon equipped, jump up to the ceiling and walk until Moonlight is towards the right of the screen a little past a bump on it. Jump down from there and near the end of the pause of the first ninjas, move to the wall on the right side in proper timing to avoid the two ninjas coming from that area.

  • Once the second ninja closest to the left of the character passes, move left a little to dodge the ninjas coming from below, and after a bit, move left more and begin to use the sickle and chain. At this point, left and right movements can be necessary, and in PC Engine mode, the weapon can protect you from instant death in about two hits to reach Kaine. I haven't found a more effective strategy for the end part as of yet, but it can be done with a bit of practice, as well.

  • i have this on the wii's virtual console, and it's good even though it's tough (but not too tough like ninja gaiden)

  • How long did it take your video to show up in a search after you uploaded it? I uploaded mine last night and they still don't show up, even when i search for my user name.

  • It's not immediate. Just give it some time.

  • IIRC after 8 hours.
