  • What mounting bracket are you using for this? Looking to get this same setup. Nice shot and video!

  • HomelessDragons is the type to run a fund raiser for tigers instead of feed starving human beings.

  • nice shot what kinda broadheads

  • omg you killed bambies mom!!!!!!

  • тфу блядь!

  • @BAKIR250882 What?

  • @10ring Is your crossbow fragile?the quad 400 has a few bad reviews about breaking. I see your is simliar, Quad AVI. I need a bow i can shot a ton of rounds outta. I want to hunt, but when im bored I just wanna put holes in stuff. lol. SO do you like your crossbow, would you recommend?

  • Awesome shot and video!!! Very well done! Your idea to mount a camera on your X-bow has inspired me to do the same for the 2012 season - perhaps even buy a new camera for the purpose. The additional pics are a very nice supplement to the video. Just over 8 months 'till deer season...... Thank you for the video and great idea!!!

  • @superd222tube you gonna post it?

cuz i wanna see it if you do!

  • Awesome!!! I'll bet she tasted GOOD !!!!!

  • is that a spitfire I see on the end of that bolt? Those things are awesome, dad accused me of shooting mine with a gun when he saw the exit hole.

  • nice

  • Deficient hunter. nat0536

  • What area are you hunting in?

  • @Cptace1961 Private land in northwest Michigan.

  • Poor animal, just living it's life, then someone tried to murder it.

  • @HomelessDragons Correction: Did, not Tried. And she was TASTY. Welcome to the real world, where meat doesn't magically appear out of thin air wrapped in cellophane at the grocery store. What are you, 10 years old?

  • @10ring I was just being sympathetic, don't be offended

  • Nice shot..I have the same crossbow. But I havent gotten to kill anything with it yet.

  • why did you not shoot the one that came al the way in

  • @pbldhdeerhunting good video though nice shot were are you hunting at

  • to save u all the shot is at 7:14

  • Looks like you have a honeyhole back there! lol

  • awsome vid.!what was the name of the crossbow

  • @MRsportskid7301 It's in the video info.

  • Great video. Thanks for posting

  • Nice footage, what did you make the mount out of? It appears to be just a piece of bent aluminum maybe? I would like to see a vid showing how you mounted the cam, could be applicable to regular rifles also maybe?

Enjoyed the video, and nice shot man!

    perry

  • @perryinjax Yep, that's all it is. A piece of flat aluminum with a couple slight bends and a couple holes drilled in it. Not the most sturdy thing in the world, but does the job for the non-existent recoil of the crossbow. Definitely not suited for any kind of gun, except maybe a single shot .22. The action cycling in a semi-auto .22 would jar the camera and mount too much after a few dozen shots.

  • I understand wanting to watch the deer and appreciate nature and not just cut to the killing, but in waiting soooo long you missed an opportunity for a clean kill or at least a clean shot. Take the shot when you can. The other thing is, these deer are tame, no deer will take this amount of movement and noise, sorry no way. Otherwise, nice clear camera shot, and a lovely place.

  • @richardd2063 he is probably 25-20 feet in air. ive been in my stand at 20 foot and had to stand up and draw my bow withouth the deer noticing

  • @oiBriiaN We went a little overboard. That sucker is right about 30 feet in the air. :-D

  • @10ring haha thats the way to do it

  • toss a frag or get 8 people to camp out there and get a bunch meat

  • @10ring no lie same set up that I had for my first buck. I got an 11 point basket rack with a quad 400 avi and spit fires. Great shot! One thing a can't stress enough is watch those spit fires I lost a nice 8 point last year cause they didn't open right. Now I use fixed blades. Once again great shot!

  • @theunderbidder1 Thanks mate. You might want to reconsider getting rid of spit fires, or mechanicals in general. If you watch spit fires in slow motion hitting a target, you'll see that it is physically impossible for the blades to pass through anything without opening almost instantly. Often times, they'll go through and then momentum will cause the blades to close back half way, giving the illusion of not having opened. The exception would be if the tip/housing was damaged.

  • ur so fucked up u just sat there and watched them FOR EVER

  • @agmmissile98 If you can't enjoy the nature you sit in, and only want to rush to the killing part, maybe you should either not hunt, or get some kind of psych eval.

  • Ive got a ts3. How did you mount the camera to the xbow? Great video!

  • @Westy171717 Thanks. Pictures of my home made mount in the video description/info.

  • Great footage and yoo nailed him.

  • great vid, wondering why you didn't take the shot from 4:30-6:30?

  • @hooters64 See my comment to 'rustedangel666'.

  • great video, 3 commie liberals disliked it

  • похоже про тормозил охотник.. переждал так сказать.

  • The old spitfire does it again!

  • @wildyotes This year I'm going to try the new Spitfire Edge. If it works the same way with a larger cut, why not?

  • Do you have any pictures of your camera setup?

  • @lemon7039 Added the camera setup to the gallery linked in the video info.

  • great shot and great video.. everybody, it's easy to jump on someone because it's what looks like the perfect shot, i've been there.. sometimes if the deer aren't aware of you being there, just nice to watch and see if more come in.. that is a nice big mature doe, good job.. sure is nice when you have a bunch come in like that.. good job and enjoyed watching..

  • @buckluck9pt Thank you. Nice to see another hunter that isn't bloodthirsty, and actually enjoys the nature he sits in.

  • I can't believe it, you had the perfect broadside shot for a long time but yet you waited until the deer turned on a harder shot, why you did not shoot earlier?

  • @rustedangel666 Heh, everybody asks that, and rightly so. I wanted antlers, and was still deciding if I was in the mood to track, gut, skin, and then butcher a doe that night. After she turned away, I said 'Ok, if she gives me a good quartering shot, I'll take it.". She did, I shot, and she is actually in my belly right this minute (made BBQ pulled venison sandwiches out of her today).

  • @10ring

    Alright, way to go!

I'm glad you harvested the doe.

  • great shot Comrade, congratulations form Italy

  • @guerrierodelgiaguaro Grazie tanto!

  • awesome dude..Great video..

  • kill them allready i want blood

  • @hwninja92 Blood is in the pictures.

  • what lb's is that bow?

  • @NoNoobStyle With crossbows the poundage is less important than the feet per second it ends up launching the arrow, because different xbows have different length power strokes. To answer your question, the Quad AVI is a 150lb draw, and shoots 450 grain complete arrows at about 350 fps.

  • Just great!

  • @ClanRsT Danke.
