I'm really surprised by Saban. In a way it's like their plagued by 90's-itus. They use all this dated tech and cgi to produce run-down, shittier generations of Power Rangers, while Power Rangers was one of the largest franchises in the 1990's, you would think that they'd have enough cash to finance a large-scale Power Rangers movie and hire a staff with skills to pan a Ranger film that attracts the now 20-something era who grew up watching the original show.

@McBar0321 Yep. As long as they are beholden to Sentai footage, and the primary drive behind maintaining the franchise is toy sales, it will never reach its true potential. Sentai is cool, but PR needs to establish itself beyond it to make those necessary leaps. However, the toys are seen as THE product when it comes this Power Rangers business and the show itself sadly does not strive to be more than mere promotion of that product. So the amateur plotting and obligatory zord battles will ensue.
