  • This guy can play for sure but what's with his fingers! They look like they have shit on them!

  • Played one of these for the first time today. Best Gibson I have ever laid hands on and I want it bad!!!!

  • I like to pretend that Greg is playing a 335 and he is a giant.

  • @Philtration HA! awesome....made my day.

  • classic '57's.Best p.u's in the world

  • Very nice and warm sound... 339 is really good...

  • Wow, that tone!

  • Hi , good , really!!!! good tone also , if you want can hear my sample!! thanks Bye

  • what a sound that 339 has!!! YOu bring it out real well.

  • whats the difference between es 335 ans es 359 ?

  • @iConverseMyLife es 359- sounds kinda like a les paul but not as beefy or aggressive as its a semi hollow.

Es 335- big airy and mellow tone. Classic semi hollow for blues or jazz , well it covers alot of genres much like a les paul

  • cooollllll bravo nice guitar and good feeling ;)

  • really nice phrasing....sort of your own signature....keep playin kid!

    Ecellent

  • You look like Harry Potter's Dobbie

  • does anyone see the Marty McFly resemblence??

  • Did u just watch Rebecca Black, cause you look nauseous

  • I love that he's out-playing most stage performances in his flat on a chair... Unbelievable...

  • great musician , love your vids !!!!!

  • all us guitar players love and respect this guy sp much lol

  • Oh man what a beautiful guitar! Before this deployment, I would make weekly visits to Guitar Center just to play on it for a few hours... I will own one someday....

  • I want Gibson ES-339 so badly...but it will take 10 years to earn one for me...

  • Rockin! Still looking for a vintage red one ...

  • You might as well make 30 videos using the same guitar and rig. Every time I see you play a different guitar, I go "wow" nice guitar, same tone, To each his own. rock on.

  • I've never bought a guitar from Greg, but his demo's have sold me on a lot of things.

  • I've just purchased one of these fine axes (used, but in great condition); a far more manageable size than, say, an Epiphone Sheraton - and I'm six feet four tall! - but keeps "that" sound. I thought it would be really neck heavy but the balance is better on this than on the Sheraton I own (and am now selling). I've posted elsewhere that I'll be using it for more than just front pickup blues and jazz.

  • I am thinking about buying this guitar and I was wondering what did you think of the guitar out of the box quality ? Needed adjustments ? Over priced ?

    Thanks.

  • I like how the amp microphone is being held by a teddy bear haha

  • has a jeff beck kind of sound especially at the beginning

  • which one is best for blues and classic rock ? es 339 or es 137 ? can a 59 rounded neck be like a 30/60 afetr a luthier work, or the fingerboard is bigger on the es 137 and nothing can make it a 30/60 neck ? i want to gergor hilden in my next life.....bélo

  • Awesome solo Greg !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i have the same guitar and the same colour bravo gregs

  • Awesome playing. Looks a lovely guitar. On the 2 neck profiles - which is more similar to the PRS Custom 24 standard neck? I have one of these and it is my favourite neck profile. I am thinking of the ES-339. Thanks a lot.

  • sick lick at 1:30 man

  • sick lick at 1:31 man

  • 1:26 CRAZY !

p.s Can you buy me a strat Sir ? Thanks !

  • Nice Demo. I had my 339 on my lap watching the video. 339 is a great guitar.

  • Is the sound of an ES339 very different from an ES335? How different

Which is more appropriate for Jazz and Blues?

  • @PF1964 the ES-339 is smaller than the 335, more like the size of a Les Paul. I like it better for that reason, it's kind of a middleman between those two models. Truly the best of both worlds.

  • @PF1964

they sound very similar, they use the same hardware, wood, and construction with a few little tweaks, 339s have an output jack like a les paul's as opposed to the 335's top mounted one, and the the 339 uses different volume pots.

and the answer for your second question is purely up to you, but the 339 will fit in any place a 335 will

  • Love the sound and playing style, so much i just went out today and got a limited pelham blue one !!!! i wont sound like that though.....

  • Man you are awesome!!!!!!!

  • awesome playing!!!

  • Excellent use of volume controls and toggle switch. Your tones have convinced me that I want a 339 for myself. Great job man and beauty guitar! BTW do you like this small body size? Would you rather play a 335 or this? Thanks!

  • And I was telling her, please wash the ES not too hot ... ;-)

  • Hello,good sound.¿It is Gibson 339 fat neck?

  • Now that's how to play a shuffle in E!

  • How do you like this compared to the ES-335 and/or the Epi Sheraton?

  • man you have to quit smoking

  • @Acronso he collects fallen pieces of fingerboard after his jammin and smokes them... cant say shit to that ;-D thumbs up

  • lovely playing just lovely :D

  • Und ich sach noch, nich' so heiss waschen ;-D

  • Awesome playing, and a sweeeeeet guitar...:-)

  • These guitars are so amazing. Yet so expensive.

  • @batseend But they are the cheapest gibson semi hollow body guitar out there, at 2000 usd

  • @Jwguitarjam i bought this 339 from greg and yes they are the cheapest custom shop ES guitars from gibson...but i can tell you...this 339 sounds way better than many more expensive es guitars from gibson...the harmonics, sustain and response are incredible...i´ve played some 335´s and the sound was not so open

  • @Jwguitarjam

the gibson vegas high roller was cheaper, stupid they discontinued it. But sales of the higher end models were dropping...
