Not really. Communism works in small hunter-gatherer groups. Communism can only exist on a world scale & not in one country or two or three. Socialism is a foundation of communism, in which the means of production is not owned by a hand full of people. Everyone does their part and enjoys the benefits of the societies fruits as a whole, if they don't, they're kicked out and forced to fend for themselves. So no, they do actually do work. Well it's really quite simple. In order for you to enjoy your standard of living, you essentially need to enslave workers in other countries by paying them incredibly low wages. In order for the whole world to enjoy your standard of living, you would require the resources of 5 Earths. The only way you can stay rich is by keeping millions poor. Firstly, you might pay your workers fairly, but workers in 3rd world countries are paid 2 cents an hour so you can go buy crap at walmart or target for low prices. Second, when I speak of communism, I'm not talking about the authoritarian states such as China that just label themselves as communist. Fourth, as I keep trying to stress, it doesn't matter how nicely you pay workers IN THIS COUNTRY, in order for you to buy consumer goods cheaply, it requires cheap labor from other countries. Every time you buy stuff that says "mad in China", you are supporting this.

Bullshit it happened in 1913 when the Federal Reserve was put into place and was given the power over our country's money and gold and the IRS started illegally and unconstitutionally taxing the wages of American workers who are law-abiding citizens. And since 1913, it has continued. You better believe that makes the United States a Fascist country, or moreover, a Corporatist country where private bankers control it.

@viperpulse I agree; while I disagree with the methods of governance that you have chosen, I agree with its right to exist and for the government to work properly, it should remain within the confines of its own outlined doctrines. The taxation you suffer is unrepresented, going to foreign and corporate interests, not to the people who pay them. Your government has for the last few decades been completely unconstitutional.
