If you want responsiveness and generally better overall everything get a manual transmission version.

Definitely. This wasn't our car to try out. I have ridden in a manual Fit Sport at an autocross, and it was definitely more responsive than this model.

The honda fit isn't a sports car, it's ment for good fuel economy.

Same with the Civic. The old CRX HF got better fuel economy than modern hybrids, and without all that complex electrical stuff.
