They did this for real in Central Park NY. They placed QR codes at exact locations around the park where famous events and movies took place. When you scanned the QR it played clips filmed from those exact locals at very close or exactly the same angles from where you were standing. AR baby. Check out prisonganggame (d-o-t) c. O.
