They kept saying that Barricade was going to be in the movie. They also reported that Barricade's Mustang Saleen from the first film was on set. This whole f'ing mis-information campaign from Michael Bay was stupid! A'lot of the really good, juicy, and awesome stuff ended up being false.

In the novelization for the first film, he supposedly gets killed in the freeway scene by Optimus after Bonecrusher was killed. Then in the Transformers Alliance comic which is a prequel to Revenge Of The Fallen, he is shown relaying a message to Starscream and any other Decepticons listening in space. But he pretty much just vanished in the last film. Who knows what Michael Bay was thinking?

Michael Bay confirmed that Starscream will act just like his good old G1 self this time. He'll be the same greedy, backstabbing character we all know and love, and will argue, betray and fight with Megatron.

I just reviewed the Takara Masterpiece toy and it made me think of the greedy, ego G1 character because they included a changing face with a smirk lol! Gotta love Starscream!
