  • this vid is way better in angle two where it stays focused ont hescreen how i saw it live in the first place :P

  • Pour toujours, ma préférée de NIN.......

  • 2 fags watched this video. This is fucken tits!!

  • Genius

  • DATE ME

RAPE ME IMPREGNATE ME ... please trent

  • I went to see this show and it was so dark and enchanting I wet myself

  • The opening sound effects of this song scare the FUCK out of me.

  • The opening to Reptile scares me. It's my number one favorite song and I've listened to it probably thousands of times but it still can scare me.

  • The factory sound effects or the opening riff?

  • The sound effects. It gives me an awful feeling of loneliness. It also reminds me of the movie Alien when one of the crew members goes off searching and he goes into the cargo bay with the hanging chains and dripping coolant. He thinks he's alone, but then there's the shot of the alien hanging from one of the chains just watching him. My favorite shot in the movie. So damn creepy.

  • Goddammit dude, now I'm gonna think that whenever I watch that part.

  • You're welcome. :D

  • musical heroism - not to mention the musical geniuses behind "Anti-Chirst...."! This song hurts!

  • need you

    dream you

    find you

    taste you

    fuck you

    use you

    scar you

    break you

  • loose me

    hate me

    smash me

    erase me

    kill me

    kill me

    kill me.....

  • my sister Donna turned me onto 1994's "the Downward spiral" and it's like the soundtrack to my Life, she saw them live in England there!

  • Parker Fly Guitar... hmm nice...

  • This version is more soft no ? There's not a guitar in the ending.

  • Does anyone know where I can find the video that was used in the backdrop?

I know I have seen it before but it was years ago... I don't think it was made by the band.

  • This. is. perfection.

  • this it ART. beautiful and perfect. i truly think trent reznor is the best composer of the end of 20th century-beginning of 21th.

  • Powerful song. So powerful!!! Sheer, Raw, Power.

  • is that josh freese on the drums?

  • Yes.

  • i took a bunch of ecstacy and went to the lights in the sky tour and that fuckin show bloew my mind ive only they played eraser, but fuck it the show it self was insane enough lol NIN4EVR

  • Believe me, I do X. But why would u ever want to do that at a NIN show?! I would be so disoriented that I would miss all the great little things that Trent does during the show. Whenever I go to a show that I goce 1/2 a damn about I "try" and stay sober so that I can remember every detail. That's just me though, I'm not judging.

  • I think you got a good reason for that . I was stoned when I go to big trance concert and at the end of the show I was too tired and sleepy for all that shit

  • Really? I thought Great destroyer and Closer would kill your mind away. but I'm not as lucky as you, me and my friends have never been to any of NIN concert because we all live in Thailand, although some of my friends study abroad in US for 1-2 years

  • yur mada

  • Wow!!! Can anyone be so starved for attention that they call NN bullshit?! Guess so. Well here is the attention that u so dearly need little TROLL. Fuck u and die in a fire.

  • Nine inch nails come to Sweden one more time!

  • Comment removed

  • Nine Inch Nails is great live, but I prefer the album version of this song. The audio distortion and increased volume when Reznor starts yelling "Kill me" on TDS is much more unnerving and violent.

...Though it has to be an awesome fucking experience to hear 30,000 people scream "Kill me".

  • can't agree more.

  • @taxidriver1990

    it is

  • you tool, you can't compare this to the pink folyd version, its two different styles, trent didn';t want it to sound like the original

  • well see this is what people call a live set where the song can be freely fucked with by the artist and his bandmates to suit however the fuck they decide to sound on that night, or to be more accurate during a certain leg of a certain tour.

u cant really say its a bad recording, but i can respect that ur opinion of this version of the song. so whatever, lol

  • josh.....why the fuck you just have to go..............fuckkkkkkkk

  • I still wonder how he made that eraser sound in the beginning. SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME!

  • I dont know what sound you're referrencing but I think it was made breathing through a straw

  • i mean the sound at 0:00 - 0:10.

Yeah, it could be done by breathing through a straw.

  • i can do it XD ahahahaha

    just with my mouth

  • He's using a sax mouthpiece, you can hear the reed squeaking every now and again and it also gives it the hollow sound.

  • DAMN SICK!

    Those visuals kick BUTTCRACK!

    SO AWESOME

  • wow your cool

  • what are you, crazy?

    listen hard then, my friend

  • angle 2/2 please

  • Anyone that believes that Blue Man Group started projecting visuals while performing has apparantly never heard of either Skinny Puppy or Ministry. If Nine Inch Nails were "ripping" anyone off, it would be either of these two bands, rather than BMG.

  • *cough* Pink Floyd comes to mind also...

  • well Shralla i hate to break it to ya but nin had the sheet in front on the 94 tour and i think it was way before the blue man group

  • what in the fuck are you talking about?

  • And let me guess. Metallica doing arena shows is a ripoff of the acts that did arena tours during the seventies and eighties as well, right?

  • I dont think Blue Man Group started the whole large scale visuals for the concert scene. its been around for quite sometime.

  • Except Pink Floyd did it WELL before them.

  • damn, i meant incredible...

  • *Sigh* they are incredibly live..best concert/night of my life :]

  • Love the reverse nuclear explosion at the end.

  • I agree with Arcto... I didn't see this in concert but I saw it on a widescreen tv with surround sound with the volume cranked (it could've been cranked higher, though, there was a lot of background noise..) but yeah, the effect of it is amazing. It gave me goosebumps and chills and made me want to scream. I'm SO MAD I haven't seen them in concert yet!!!

  • Scream woman, scream "KILL ME!" Now ou have to

  • nows your chance. NA tour!!

  • I got to see this in Vancouver this show was fuckin nuts.

  • more focus..

    i think.

then was just nuts now its all. ykno.

  • I think they're way better now.

  • DUde this shit was real live .. Just cuz he aint got metal hair anymore , you fags get made .. Something tells me your small minded ..

  • ...what?

  • Throw this dvd on a widescreen tv. Sit back with a bottle of wine (and some smoke if thats your fancy). Jack the volume on suround sound up so the neighbours think there actually a the concert. And tell me you "cant feel it".

  • all i'm saying is, comparing this particular performance, with a performance of the same song with the old band - finck, lohner, clouser, and vrenna - the old performance sounds much fuller.

  • I disagree now, Robin Finck hes incredible I do not know how he can hol dthe notes he does, but he does it. Yet, Aaron North, is also insane, his guitars are rediculous, he doesn't hold notes like fink instead he alters it into something just as fantastic. For example Closer from beside you in time, to be honest I am sick of that song, but he aded nough to that song to make me lik eit again. That is a damn good guitarist.

  • Jaw dropping.

  • eraser fucking owns

  • omg trent marry me.

  • One of my all-time favourites by NIN.. The Drums are f***ing amazing!!! Everything is f***ing amazing on Eraser!!!!!!!!!!

  • I know but to keep the beat going isn't that simple..

And who cares when it sounds so f***ing awesome

  • He is a good drummer. All profesional level drummers have to be excellant, regardless of what he may be playing here.

  • DUde yes the drums are simple ... But Its Josh Freese , Ya know from a perfect circle .. He is a bad ass drummer .. And just so you know , being the best on a instrument doesnt make you a good artist , it just makes you good with the mechanics .. I have heard a millone songs that are musically hard to play that were lame , and unoriginal .. This HERE is True Art , only a unartistic person without taste would disagree ..

  • satan i love this track

  • Noticed what a great drummer this is!!

He's actually nearly as good to play eraser as Chris Vrenna

  • I do have to admit, NIN is pretty amazing.

  • You havnt turned off the surround mix...
