  • And this is vaccine side effects? In Norway, a country with few citizens, at least 19 children and 4 adults developed sleep disorder narcolepsy after being vaccinated with Pandemrix. Next week experts across Europe will discuss the relationship between narcolepsy and the swine flu vaccine.

Oh yes, of course, sick people and animals are good business for Big Pharma.

Watch the movie here on YouTube; Burzynski: Cancer Is Serious Business - Official 2011 Release

  • Is the narcolepsy in these dogs induced, like a gen mutation, for study or are these natural occurances?

  • PLAY DEAD! ok...u play dead..wait..ummmm

  • so hes awake he can see and understand whats happening but is paralyzed?

  • This is cataplexy (most narcs do not have, I do). Easiest explanation- when you have a nightmare your mind kicks out a chem to your nervous sys so you don't jump up and run to avoid the boogy man or whatever. My mind doesn't recognize being awake so this sort of stimuli (anger, fear, laughter) induces chemical and I lose complete nervous sys in an instant. BAM! straight to the floor face first. Usually more entertaining then the actual punchline lol

  • @a16ozsoda hey dude, thanks for the explanation, and congratulations for the humour you use to face the situation!...

  • Awwww the Weiner dog one was cute...but yet sad...it look like it died...I'm in psychology and is studying about narcolepsy

  • Poor little guys :(

The scientific side is kinda fascinating though

  • i study vet! its interesting, not funny...

  • if they die, they don't get back up after 10 seconds

  • i hate it when dogs have problems :(

  • @edwardismyangel7

Well . . . when they die they won't get back up

    dingleberry

  • Narcolepsy dogs dobis zwei psychology video of researcher working with marcoleptic dogs

  • POOR BABIES...thier so sweet!!

  • you learn something new everyday. Thanks for the post

  • Narcolepsy occurs when dogs experience a surge of emotion.

Narcolepsy is the most prevalent in the following dog breeds:

    Labrador

    Poodle

    Dachshund

    Doberman

  • the last dog is like dead!! :)

  • if wolfes were like that then sheeps would be hunting wolf and wolf would be eating grass

  • @Newbpwng rofl

  • Is this a common disorder in dobermans?

  • I don't know if it's common to dobermans but I do know narcolepsy effects all dog breeds to some extent.

  • no it's very rare, and not only dobermans have it humans have it to

  • reminds me of those sheep that become paralyzed when you startle them.

  • interesting

  • How many times do you fall asleep a day?

When u wake up do you know you overslept?

Can you live a full life like any person?

  • Hi Anette!

I've had this affliction since age 16. Narcolepsy made it impossible for me to persue studies in just about everything I was interested in. Physical things such as dance and drama worked better, but not completely as I would have needed to break for a nap between classes to not miss out on alot. It varies from case to case. Cataclepsy (like in the vid), awake paralasys, is one condition, sleepattacks is another, not everyone has both. REM-sleep is dreamsleep.

  • cont.

For some it involves frightening hallucinations. Exitement is a trigger, distress, anger, or laughing. Also individual. Mostly I've been regarded as a smart, lazy-ass, or just not serious enough to finish. Extremely frustrating and can lead to depression, believe me. Bosses have thought I was partying too much. When I was young I fell asleep riding a bike. I was smart enough not to drive a car. Now there are meds, that can help alot, but no cure.

  • @Gnarbel I suffer from narcolepsy, too, but thankfully without the cataplexy. I learned that it is very helpful to talk to people and especially your bosses about your condition. Some might laugh, but at least they don't think you're a lazy ass or partying every night not caring about your job. If people think you're simulating get an emergency ID or something.

  • For me, at 40+ it's something I've known most of my life, but am treated for only recently. I'm a woman so guy's have accepted when I fall asleep after sex (like a guy LOL). But I've met kids who got help early. I know a surgeon who wolud be where I am, or worse if not for medication. Some sleep visibly, in their soup (has happened to me) others just fade out , sometimes only for 30 seconds. That happens to me alot now that I'm less prone to complete collapse.

  • it's confusing (did the customer pay me, or is she about to?! Was I about to say that or did I already?! *pokerface*) and most narcoleptics have trouble with memoryloss. Often though, one is completely aware what's going on around you.( Like *this is the station I should be getting off.* *Everyone is laughing at me.* *Damn, I want to see this scene in the movie!* or *if i could only show you how hurt-ful that was instead of falling asleep*) Partners/family/co-workers with understanding helps.

  • @Gnarbel thanks for your infos, i learnt something today :)

  • just wondering have you ever fell asleep while swimming?

  • by do you keep your 5 senses i mean are you aware of your surroundings, and since the guy says you get paralyzed, can you still feel

  • 1- do you dream

2- do you keep your 5 senses

    3- do energy drinks help

4 do you suddenly collapse, or do you try to lay down

    thanx in advance for answering

  • omg he's slapping them!!! lol!! owch..

  • "they can not move"... *boing!* 00:29

  • LMAO!

The weenie dog was soo funny, that

    dog passed out right away!!

    HEHE

    hopefully they find a cure!

  • If its genetic, stop passing the gene (don't breed them).

  • aww that's so sad,I wish they had a cure for it:/

  • Narcolepsy with Cataplexy (loss of muscle tone) is rare in canines, but research, starting with Rusty the Doxy, and continued with the Dobermans showed that it's a genetic trait.

The unfortunate thing about Narcolepsy in dogs is that normal drugs, which work on humans, don't work on the poor things. So when they get excited, or experience certain stimuli, their muscles lock up and they 'sleep'.

I think it's very interesting...but also very heart breaking...the poor dears...

  • what does Narcolepsy do?

  • it makes you go to sleep when you get excited or scared.

  • wow.. really should be annoying..

is there a cure for it? :P

  • there's medicine i think but not a cure but messed up thing is that the medicine dosen't work for dogs.

  • It is funny taken out of context but still poor puppies lol

  • At least they both seem to have the same response time to the stimulus of play...wouldn't it stink if one passed out while to other still wanted to play?

  • poor doggies

  • no it isn't its a real disease and it causes the affected party to fall asleep when to excited i have seen a dog with narcolepsy before and i was there when he passed out and he wasn't trained at all he was a rescue case

  • You're retarded. It's not fake.

  • Yeah I agree, they do liek psychological tests on this stuff all the time, its annoying when people don't believe that its a disorder

  • You're an idiot

  • its so sad

  • aww. cute dogs.

  • How bizarre! Wow.

  • It's playtime, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
