  • whats the max temp your part of FL get?

  • @wizdumb420 Pretty close to 100 degrees, sometimes in August it might reach 110 degrees. I am within 30 minutes of Ga.

  • Awesome im about to start raiseing meat rabbits. Were gonna get some american chinchilla rabbits.

  • @paidskn1488 Thats sounds great ,with very a little research anyone can raise meat rabbits.Let me know how it goes. Blessings.

  • Great looking setup... everything looks fat and healthy great job considering how hot this summer was..keep us updated.

  • @JRSKICK1 Thanks. It's a great compliment considering your setup... I hope to aspire to half your success... If you see anything you wish to critique I would appreciate it. I am going to build your "rabbit - chicken coop" money permitting. Will post videos as available...

  • There are reports published that claim that rabbit meat is so low in protein that it is possible to starve to death on a full 'rabbit diet'.

  • @hiyosilver100 What are your sources? Besides, I don't plan on a diet of only Rabbit... Would you give up any one thing in your diet just because you couldn't live on it alone? With your logic we'd all starve to death with lots of great things to eat all around us. I plan on a balance diet with Rabbit as the main course as often as my heart desires it. However, thanks for the input and thanks for watching. I appreciate your view, even though I don't share it... Thanks again... Blessings

  • @mainbearing68 I'm not a fan of Wikipedia but look up Rabbit Starvation. Rabbits also can carry Tulerimia (I've seen it in wild rabbits).

I used to like fried rabbit simmered in Spaghetti sauce.

I'm sure you have additional food sources. Your comment about my "logic" is uncalled for.

Your time may be better spent on raising chickens if you are doing this for a survival food source.

(Besides, the bunnies are too cute. I have one.) : )

  • @hiyosilver100 "Cute" has nothing to do with livestock. To quote -The National Terror Alert Response Center- “'What Can I Do To Prevent Becoming Infected with Tularemia?' Tularemia occurs naturally in many parts of the United States. Use insect repellent containing DEET on your skin, or treat clothing with repellent containing permethrin, to prevent insect bites. Wash your hands often, ... ‘Be sure to cook your food thoroughly’ and that your water is from a safe source." Thanks sharing...
