a view of black holes

interesting to think about.  It'd be strange to fall into a black hole. Good point about the event horizon, if the gravity is pulling the matter in, people who fell into a black hole would most likely not be able to stop from falling in.

What are your views on white holes, the opposite of black holes that theoretically spew matter out?

I agree. Our delicate systems would give out long before we reached a black hole. I have often wondered where the "survival horizon" is. A few million miles away maybe?
