Guilty Gear was still pretty in 2d, why would Midway do something like building 3d games? In my opinion I think its because they ran out of ideas to make 2d "fun-filled", and they think that old sprites don't fit with Next Gen's games. I think they're now focusing on how games look good from the Unreal Engine instead of how fun will pulling off combos be..and this makes the MK universe "special"...I think its all the graphics, and little the gameplay..

Yes, but like I said, the only way to real make "new" fighters is to act them out and that just would suck, it would stand out to much, I say the best we are going to get is them taking parts from other characters, mixing them together, and recoloring them.

Well, if so, you could do that alot easier with a cartoon character like Street Fighter, but in mortal kombat its really actors acting out the punchs and stuff, like Sub-Zero is a real person in a ninja suit, they take pics on them and use stuff frame to make it look like they are moving, thats why they look so much my realistic then street fighter.
