I grew up with Woody. We attended Cedar Grove Baptist together in Kingston, TN - and he was ALWAYS... either singing for his Savior... or on the road somewhere, heading to some out of the way meeting or town, or any other place that people might gather,,. so that he could sing about his Savior.
One of the greatest talents I've ever encountered in gospel or any other genre of music, and I hope he knows that a lot of us looked up to him growing up. He is, and always was, the genuine article.

Brother James McFall a Pentecostal Preacher from Philadelphia, Mississippi wrote this song, He then sold the rights to Bro. Joel Hemphill (The Singing Hemphills) who made it a million seller. Years later he returned the rights to Bro. James. Bro. McFalls passed a couple years ago, and he was truely a Godly man.
