  • I like these guys all the way up here in Iowa. But yes i wish both bands would get more attention on a nationally

  • This is the opening track to the movie "Brain Dead" (2007)

  • факинь обожаю ))

  • thats the chich from "numb3rs", navi rawat!

  • this song is sooo catchy and the lyrics really mean something, I heard this song on the radio a little while back and it brought me back years

  • I remember hearing this band on a mix cd I got from Journeys forever ago. It's a shame they aren't more popular.

  • i download this from limewire and it said the toadies, well it sound like them to the T

  • @jeremyowens81 Because he is the singer from the Toadies........

  • Why isn't this song more popular? It's great and catchy

  • krap this songs old

  • Saw them at a tiny place in St. Petersburg called The State Theatre. They were amazing.

  • Taz needs a better band

  • The Toadies have just finished re-recording a ton of tracks from the long-languishing "Feeler" album. The Kirtland site has more info about it!

  • i feel so fucking dumb lol ive been a toadies fan for ever lol and just found out about these guys from a toadies interveiw i always woundered what he did with the down time but these guys are great

  • Lewis has got one of the best rock voices ever, IMO. Too bad the BB and Toadies don't get much exposure outside the Lone Star State.

The last BB album, Mercy, was a friggin' masterpiece, IMHO. I hope they make another record.

  • @PMMFCustodian I could not agree more. It's really a shame. I definitely agree...it's probably one of the most underrated albums ever.

  • @PMMFCustodian god bless Texas

  • @PMMFCustodian I agree! I live in Wisconsin, and I hardly hear them! My local rock station does give them some airplay, not nearly enough though! Then again, if I heard them 40 times a day like all the cookie cutter shit out there, I probably wouldn't love them the way I do! :)

  • Forgot to add, if you ever get a chance to see either band live, do it. One of my favorite live bands along with Clutch and Reverend Hortonheat.

  • After a couple of Burden Brothers CDs, The Toadies got back together and released No Deliverance. It wouldn't shock me if Todd Lewis bounced back and forth between bands. That would be awesome, because living in Texas they both played A LOT of live shows.

  • my band SWIRLY opened a show on maui for these guys (and lisa)of course i mean THE TOADIES, it rocked, then we went jet skiing. kick ass!

  • Whatever happened 2 this band but a great song

  • This band rocked, but I am glad to see the Toadies are back together!

  • Vaden Lewis is an excellent frontman and if people had good taste in music these guys probably wouldn't have broken up, but at least we get the Toadies back look for a new record August 19, 2008

  • Mceggins, BB didn't break up.. they are on break while VTL works with the Toadies, but BB will be back, we're lucky we get both BB and TOADIES!!

  • Sat nosebleeds of nosebleeds(nobody but a wall was behind me)at game 3 of the stars vs detroit game 8 beers deep and Lewis comes out and plays this song, I freaked out and then the toadies joined in after that to play "I come from the Water"-I shat my pants and sloshed everyone in front of me with my beer-f*#ckin awesome, even tho stars lost, def payin the c note to go see them in ft worth

  • i don't know why this song had such the effect it did on me, i am in so much pain, and it made me feel as if things could be beautiful again

  • Dan, Maybe someday all hurting people will all be rid of pain and things will be beautiful again. Take care my friend! Mel

  • I totally agree. Yeah maybe someday we can get rid of all the hurting people.

  • this song is so so so amazing, there are no words. when the chorus began at 1:26 with amazing guitars, i got chills up and down my spine, and it nearly brought me to tears, i'm still shivering. the lyrics some of the best of all time this is musical magic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i absolutely love this song, someone please tell me of other great burden bros. songs, i have to stop listening to this my hands are shaking and eyes are watery.

  • yes I have heard this song before and it is amazing. I will have to listen to it again to hear more of the lyrics. Its rocks and I forgot about this song thanks for sending it to me Mel!

  • Hey, I was watching the Toadies, and read a comment about these Guys! I love this song! I never knew who sang it, but I do now!

It's pretty cool to know this guy is from the Toadies! I knew there was a reason I like these guys! They ROCK and the Toadies do TOO!

  • Happy fusion! I happen to be a big big fan of Toadies and Horton Heat; what a beautiful thing to have the best of both worlds...

  • better than "U2"'s "Beautiful Day" in MY opinion...at least at this moment...

  • Yep.

  • @99191199100 why compare the two?

  • ME LOVE THIS SONG...

  • cool solo

  • Great song. You have a powerful, commanding voice like Dee Snider. When I first heard this song I thought he had a new band. This song should have been a hit single.

  • Dee Snider!? L M A O

Try listening to good rock singers.

  • pwned.

  • Dee Snider???? really???? i think vaden is a little better than dee

  • without a doubt,he has the most underrated voice in all of rock!

  • I love this song!!!!!!!!!

  • im friends with the guitarists nephew.

  • really, im friends with the drummers mailman

  • Saw them in concert, they rocked my socks off

  • HELL FCKN YEAH!!! These guys rock so hard!! This song takes me back to when I first saw them at Sea Sculptures 2004(a local beach festival) and I was gettN romped on in this wicked mosh. They always FCK SHT UP at the House of Rock, especially when they let loose with some rubber neckn "I BURN". TEXAS ROCK and TEXAS BREW (Shiner Bock). Thats what its all about .

  • omfg it's not that great actually

  • Burden Brothers & The Toadies rock. Period.

  • Hell yes. The make Texas proud.

  • kewl

  • Why do I love this song so much?

  • they're pretty good, but I miss the Toadies

  • Coppell > LOL

  • I saw these guys last night in SR, Northern California. Sweet god they rocked so hard. They were loud, and technically brilliant. Me and my friends were so impressed by them. They are so rock & roll!

  • joined the group ;)

  • HA! When they performed that in Austin, Texas, I was like in the front, as in I could reach out and touch them, and like I turned around, and everyone had their "Hook 'Em Horns!" sign up with their hands all raised high! It was too awesome!!

    lol

  • kick ass....i to got a local band

  • This is one of the best CD's of this decade. The fools that didn't spin it on the radio are total idiots. The music is perfect, and you'll never want to stop listening to it! Ten years from now, I'll still be playing it.

  • Vaden you are my music god.

  • about time they start to get some recognition for being so Badass!

P.S. Anyone who is a member of Facebook! Me and my Friend Josh just created a group called "RYFOLAMF!" so join it and show your support for this badass band!

  • great song...
