Not sure, but I later found out that VOLARIS is actually a flight company, I think in Spain...probably has to do with IBIZA, nevertheless the cover had the same logo as the flight company...type VOLARIS in google and look the images...cool as
I don't, but it could be done if I had plugged it into the AUX, but the AUX does not have eqs. I have 4 lines though, so you can still plug 4 CD players, but only use 2 at the time, in this case it might just save a tiny bit of time with the CD loading. Thanks
lots of excuses as to why the quality sucks... if you know you can do better than this, then don't upload stuff like this because first impressions last! you've got excellent hardware there... practice practice practice!!!
Nice mix, i kinda liked it. I'm planning to make one myself one of the days. Got one little question though: i don't know the exact difference in price, but why do you buy a CDJ-1000MK2 if there's already a CDJ-1000MK3 available?
Its very early to do a full comparaison, coz just got the 1000. If feel the 1000 is easy and very simple, loop buttons are very responsive, and usually can do loop without the need to adjust. But I feel it lacks effects, and you would need exterior effects, the jog wheel is very precise and much more easy to use than on 3500
The 3500 has nuch more features, 1 sampler, 2 loops, 6 effects with many parameters you can configure, you can go much more creative with them, and emulate vinyl play if you whish, the active platter is very exitng, because you feel the deck is alive.
Ok thanks for the info, im thinking of buying me a Pioneer soon aswell:P Also a FX processor would be nice, but im still not sure about witch one i should get, either pioneer EFX-1000 or the korg KP3. Both look nice, but pioneer looks like it have more tweaks i could use, tho it cost twice or even more than the KP3
At the moment the most popular and latest effect units are the Pioneer EFX1000 and the Korg Kaoss Pad 3 (KP3), the Kp2 still offers a lot, like I said I have not really explored it, these machines are just like another instrument, or a whole new and completely different world. When you start to experiment with them, if you find some cool tricks you better document them, coz they are so many settings and possibilities it is incredible.
There are 4 versions of it. 1-2-3 and mini, this one is the 2nd also sometimes refered as KP2, KP3 is the 3rd version much more sophisticated. There is a lot you can do with it, but I have not really explored it yet.
This type connect differently depending of your mixer, but the best is to have send and receive connections for effect Units to start with.
Thanks guys, not my bestmix, unfortunately had to do it in headphones only so lot of time wasted toggling cue knob + under the influence. I just wanted to participate to support the ten min mix movement...since I have been doing the comp since the beginning, did not want to miss one...

Because Mk2 is less expensive second hand, cannot afford mk3 new or even second hand.
Difference is Mk3 plays mp3 , improved display, jog wheel tension knob, and a few other little things...
BPMDETECTORPRO 4 years ago
yeep i done exactly the same, ive had my cdj-1000 mk2 3 days now, first hand abit pricey so i got a second hand on ebay

Grats on ur new Pioneer cd player. What do u think about it, if u compare it with the 3500?
Also it was a cool mix, allways fun to mix after some beers (hopefully not too many^^)
