Hadn't seen the DHP version before but I have to say that I liked Clay Aiken better. His voice was better suited to the singing parts and although I love DHP, I think Clay bested him on this one. To those who say Clay can't sing, I suggest you check out some of his you tube videos. That guy has unbelievable pipes!

a song like this has to be played completely straight, as though the caracter really believes it, or it just doesnt work. david hyde pierce does this perfectly but Clay was frankly too much. he hams it up and makes a good joke of it, but takes it too far out of the context and plot of the show. it ruins the atmosphere and illusion

@FlawlessBeauty97 I agree, it's such a downgrade. They traded DHP for a guy who came in second in a competition that targets 13 year olds. Aiken can't sing for shit, he can't hold the same key. AND he can't play the piano. Really is a downgrade.
