You dont need hamachi, that is only if you dont want to portforward but seeing that you want to run it only on your computer you wont even have to do that. So no you do not need it, its just a suggestion.

I am not really sure that you even need to do anything then if you want to host it on your computer. Just used 127.0.0.1 as your IP (localhost) and you should be fine just make sure you edit your server packets to that also.

Well depending on what version of maplestory you are running depends on what localhost you need. If you tell me that I might be able to help you. Odin usually uses ports 8000,8080,8888,7474. You should use the one I have in the video.

It depends what kind of ms you have, I'm using the TitanMS v.55 and I get the same problem, all of my friends have to use the MapleStoryServer thing in C++ though I managed to make an exe so they don't need C++ it still gives them all the files they aren't suppose to need

Depending on what you want to use it can be 7575, 8000, or 8484. There may be more ports but those are common ones.

You dont need the .bat, when u edit ur localhost ( 127.0.0.1 ) u put ur own ip there -Start the localhost and u got on ur server - So i dont know why u got a .bat -.-

Because thats the only way to start the server. -.- You have to have the debug running the entire time otherwise there is no server to connect to. Just hex editing a client won't make it able to connect just like that. You still need all the other shit your server needs to stay running.

Ok, I hex edited my localhost and I created the launcher. Then I started up my server like I usually do and when I clicked the launcher or hex edited localhost it said:

Creating a launcher is more stable but you dont have your own client. The problem with hex editing is that sometimes the program fails and will make a bad copy resulting in this:
