  • Bless you for taking care of these ladies! This is how nature intended them to be. I hope they live a long and happy life!

  • Awesome :) wonderful to see them in there natural environment 10/10

  • Free range is nice but chickens are about as smart as cabbages. WHEN WILL THE CABBAGE SUFFERING END.

  • @Mangina9000 I can think of someone else that's about as smart as a cabbage.

  • Does saving chicks in a battery house count as a good rescue?

  • Its easy to forget how poorley they look when you first pick them up. How is your garden now lol..our 3 even stripped the first 1.5 feet of ivy!

  • You are a very kind person for giving these hens happy life! Thank you :)

    Nick

  • i want to cry!! I only eat free range eggs

  • Thank you and to everyone who has given a battery hen a decent life. You can see that they are (no pun intended) coming out of their shells. I wonder if it takes awhile before they learn how to scratch and peck at the earth? I imagine they learn to do that fairly quickly

  • I would just like to repeat what the other comments have put. Lovely video. Thanks for rescuing these lovely birds. Love Marc-Luc

i'm looking into rescuing some ex batts but i'm having some trouble. they aren't many people in scotland that sell rescued ex batts. i've visited the battery hen welfare trust but it's pretty far from my area!

  • how cute !

we saved 2 hens from the battery farm but one died within like ... 3 hours , so they were pretty bad XD but we got 2 and the both happily live in my garden and in a bigg rabbit hunch on the night [ so there safe from MR. Fox lol]

but one allways escapes and we have too go and get her from our neighbours garden XD
