@hgsfisher. in ireland people how have greyhounds use them to get the dogs faster and it help them break out gates faster. also for coursing the dogs are faster on the hare because they are used to catching the rabbits. i make a nice bit of money 10euro for each rabbit

rabbits breed all year round some 4 times a year now if you was out ferreting in the snow 3 weeks ago or walking you dog you would have seen the that a lot of rabbits are all reddy in seson i have had rabbits a bout 8in bolt the net in december and full of young now when gutted

they come out when theve flushed all the rabbits out or unless they kill down then u can ether wait or dig by useing a ferret finder

How many ferrets are you using at a single time in the set? Do you favour hobs or jills? Notice you sometimes use those nasty nylon nets that take years to untangle

he said they got 42 rabbits as for ferrets i dont know on a set that size at least 4 i would think even tho you only see one

Um i have some questions about feretting. 1 how old do you have to be to get a liscense (if i imagen required) 2. when is ferreting season 3 how do you train the ferrets to come back to teh surface? Thats always confused me lol ^^ Nice video! Did you eat the rabbits btw?

Don't need a licence and the ferrets as long as they are handled often and are not frightened of you the when they surface you can just pick them up, training is basically running them through warrens with an experienced ferret thats all I do and there is no season as such but the best time of year is in the winter when there are no young about

dont worry mate there is no liscense ! the season is jjust on your morales and respect for the safety of ur ferret ( go too early or too late and u risk ur ferret catching babies or pregnant rabbits and " laying up " and the feeret will eventually come out of the warren once it has eradicated all the rabbits , plus they need no training as its a instinct to them , hope i helped

Thebestanti.....do you eat cornflakes 4 breakfast? if it wasnt 4 evil ppl like us keeping the rabbit population down nobody would be able to eat cornflakes because the rabbits would eat and destroy all the wheat. Our method of pest control is better than seeing the rabbits suffer with miximatosis as i'm sure 99% of the population would agree!!!!!!
