The establishment has outlawed biodegradable hemp plastic. Don't come crying to me if your going to block the biodegradable plastic and only make plastic that won't degrade. I bought my grandchildren glass bottles for when they aren't on the boob. Plastic's can be made of way safer stuff like vegetable or hemp oil instead of petro. We could also make all paper from hemp, but we prefer to cut down trees and use more toxic chemicals to process. The petro companys really prefer we keep using their toxic products.

Researchers are finding plastic particles in the stomachs of fish and the birds are feeding their chicks plastic bottle lids. Corpses of young birds litter the beaches with a pile of lids where their stomach used to be. Plastic is made of petro chemicals, not very biodegradable and toxic. Some areas have way more plastic particles than plankton. This is a huge problem for all.

The establishment has outlawed biodegradable hemp plastic. Don't come crying to me if your going to block the biodegradable plastic and only make plastic that won't degrade. I am sure the response to this plastic problem will be more taxes when the problem can be solved with less government regulation.

Probably a few that we don't really attribute to plastics because of water pollution and air pollution from plants.
There's a mass of plastic the size of Texas a hundred feet deep or so that floats in a rotating current called the north pacific gyre. It looks like this, yet it's just barely under the water.

I think many people really don't know that there are many alternatives to plastics. For example, straws used to be made out of paper and wax, just like the cup that your soda is in at any given fast-food place. If companies switched back to the old-school straw, we could REALLY cut back on plastic waste. Also, I live in a small town, and my local grocery store has swtiched from plastic shopping bags, to biodegradable resin bags. Even Wal-Mart hasn't done that yet...

it says recyclable but that water bottle is never going to be a water bottle again. Plastic is recycled down tto a point where eventually it has to be thrown away. Bottled water will be the end of this planet.

Just throw your garbage in recycling when you goto the beach. A lot of the trash doesn't just come from america. the Japanese are a pretty big offender when it comes to littering the ocean. Signapore has got their shit down though. if you litter you get your ass kicked, literally.

May even be a cause of breast cancer. BPH plastics are used in some baby bottles. Scientists are on the brink of declaring them extremely toxic to infants.. I bought my grandchildren glass bottles for when they aren't on the boob. Plastic's can be made of way safer stuff like vegetable or hemp oil instead of petro. We could also make all paper from hemp, but we prefer to cut down trees and use more toxic chemicals to process. The petro companys really prefer we keep using their toxic products.

So if a person doesn't have the money -- money being the keyword-- to feed a child, they don't deserve the right to bare children? What about the poor regions of the world? If there's no economy or jobs for these citizens to earn decent wages, they are undserving of children? There are children whose parents do all they can to feed them who are still considered starving. Is it stupidity or the basics of human satisfaction? It's our own world economy which casts these people out.

Those who don't take responsibility for their actions don't deserve freedom (this is why jails exist). The solution to hunger and poverty is sterilization.
