  • That was made to look chaotic and confusing. And so it was.

  • They should rid all states of Caucuses!

  • Looks very confusing , in iowa it was more organized like jennyappel describes about WA. I'm sure turnout being much higher than normal is part of it but youd think it would be set up better. I think if run well caucuses can have positive aspects for ex. if there are several candidates & yours doesnt get 15% to be "viable"you still get a chance to have a 2nd choice. In a primary if its under 15% it still doesnt count but you don't get to choose again. Also election day should be a holiday.

  • this is how the texas caucus was ran. the results should be thrown out. it was so unfair and unorganized. the paper sheets that people are writing on could have easily been thrown out by someone. i know because i took a sheet home for my caucus. then i called a 1-800 number right after i left the caucus at 8:30 to complain that the caucus i attend was so ridiculous stupid. also, i let them know that my precident started before the last person finished voting in my precinct.

  • I led a caucus in Washington State and we were SO much moer organized. People signed in, spoke on behalf of their candidate, people made final choices and delegates were distibuted according to the percentages of people voting for the candidate and the totla number present for my precinct. Maybe Texas didn't have trainings for their caucus chairs.

  • This is the problem with the democrats system of voting, with the primary and the caucus, then you throw in the superdelegates, it all gets so confusing and more complicated than it needs to be. You don't have to vote Republican but at least do it the Republican way, winner take all.

  • Actually, Republicans caucus and choose delegates too. We don't have superdelegates, but we do have delegates, and Texas is not a winner take all state for Republicans.

  • hmmm

  • poop

  • I also live in San Antonio and voted in the Caucus...

I am not sure of what happened there but, I am glad that we did not have any problems. Everything was organized and went calmly and smoothly!....:) Karen

  • I like the primacaucus, but you need to have both optional. You can do one, the other, or both.

  • When I voted, it was by Diebold voting machines. I hate them... They do not make a printout of my vote that I can put in a ballot box... so it can be challenged or cross referenced against what the computers "say"

  • Gawd, I live in San Antonio and it was not chaotic like this when i voted at the polls!! I feel sorry for the people that had to do THIS!!

  • hahaha.....why not simply make Online voting using ppl personal ID cards like in Estonia?

  • is this a real question????.....prbly because in Houston, Texas alone they outnumber all of Estonia by Double....and we also have way to many hackers and stuff, so it would be dumb to do that

  • your right. I say why not make voting for EVERYTHING online and do away with the politicians altogether!
