“Seventy” “weeks”=(the perfection of God) (multiplied by “perfection”) =the perfection of God multiplied by perfection is the object of the sentence (Messiah)

And for the overspreading of abomination=something will overspread the very same location where the sacrifices and oblations were offered

It shall be desolate=Israel unable to sacrifice

Until consummation=until Satan's kingdom is consumed

God has made "His Word" as the final authority (see Psalm 148:2, Psalm 119). The 70th week does not speak of the "jubilee" or anything what the speaker said. The 70th week mentioned in the Book of Daniel is a literal 7 years known as the tribullation which will start after Christ's return to take his saints (rapture or the resurrection of the church). The events that will transpire in this 7 years are recorded in the Rev. 5-19. The "tribulation" will end as Christ come (2nd advent) to reign for a thousand years (Rev. 20).

@ksebasti100 actually it matters a lot. the bible says if anyone comes to you with a different gospel to let them be condemned. Jesus said many people will turn from the faith during the time of tribulation. when the pretribulation rapture doesn't happen people will be decieved and question their faith. 2 Thessalonians 2 makes it clear it says. "dont let anyone deceive you in any way for the day of the lord will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed"

It is for Israel alone...we cannot assume that the same would happen to the Philippines, did you find it in Scriptures? Let's not give false hope to our country...the church mandate is to PREACH the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST, that's the only hope and only way people can change.

@jhaspau19 You cannot assume that it is for Israel alone! For Israel is the pattern for God's plan for all the nation. Giving hope is better than discouraging people to hope in God. The bible says to occupy til He come. Occupy doesn't just mean to get busy but to fill the void for places where there is a need for God. And our government definitely need to bring back God as it's inspiration.
