Cannabis grows naturally on our planet therefore wasn't it meant to be used in some way? I mean you only have to heat it up to have its effects, does that really make it a drug?
To make something a drug you have to chemically add something to it. That's why cocaine is a drug, heroin, meth etc.

I like your post, but it may be good to point out that more and more research is showing that cannabis use, even heavy use, most likely has NO permanent effects - most of them only lasting during the high. The only negative thing is it's illegality which prevents hard-working people from getting a job if they smoked a joint two weeks prior.
Cannabis helps me with my eating habits as well as my insomnia, which in turn allows me to do better in school, at my job, etc.

Drugs inspire art greatly and since that is my career choice anyway, why does this matter to me? Look at the 60's 70's. So much colour and imagination introduced to the world that is still shown in design (and probably that advert) thanks to the use of hallucinogens (sp*).
