  • How freakin cute!!! Gota love shelties!! Iv got 4! 2 standards an 2 minis! One standard i ride, my other is my show pony an will one day be used for stud, one mini is a show pony and the other a driver!! Ur balance on ur wee pony is fab!! Im still gettin used to ma boy as only jst started riding him an im not used to being on something so small! lol x

  • @Mybabyfurbie hi agin i was wondering where did u get penny from and would you recomend any places nr east yorkshire that breeds STANDARD shetlands

  • @moocow7799 , We got Penny from a driving yard in Wiltshire. I don't really know I am afraid. I would search the Shetland Society and see if there are any recommended dealers around. Apart from that I don't know anything else, but i feel honoured your asking me. AND I really Wish you Luck In finding the correct one for you! Would recomend watching their movement and checking their faces, if they strike you as cheeky, they are the right one...

  • @Mybabyfurbie Hi again, i was wondering is Penny a miniature shetland. And, can minature shetlands be ridden many thanks.

  • @Mybabyfurbie Hi just wondering do shetlands need shoeing if there going to be worked??

  • @moocow7799 , I have worked with 9 and never have I once put shoes on any of them. My mini does a lot of road work -but splits her hooves often... Penny has never had any and used to do 2-3hr hacks, and co with the rest.... Take it slow, work it up and the hooves harden with the amount of work.

  • lol

  • AWESOME! were u riding bareback coz i cnt c a saddle

  • Hahahah a shetland taking off with you Phaaa and WOW !!! 2 foot thats huge init Lol

  • ahhh bless x3 want one! :) lol x

  • no you dont, it has taken me 9months to get to this stage of control, and staying 0n her....

  • really? wow youu have come far with her thn :)

looks can be decieving in tht case..... x

  • OMG ur cruel riding a little chetland piny and BREAKING ITS BACK !!!

  • @LuvinCauley4 Learn about horses before you comment love. Shetlands are known for their hardiness and strength. They were used as pit ponies in mines before, so how is this cruel? If the pony was not happy with it she would have bucked or tried to get the rider off, but no, she just trotted along looking very content. So shush.

  • @LuvinCauley4 That pony is moving way to well to be uncomfortable.

And by the way, "chetland" is actually spelled shetland. Dumb ass.

  • @Mybabyfurbie Can minature shetlan ponies be ridden ??

  • @moocow7799 , It is not advisable, due to the fact that they are a shetland x with a fellabella. They normally have weaker bone set and just are not built for it. Mini's are for the same use as fellabellas, cuddling and loving, they have no other real use. Though I found that they make super driving ponies, as long as you watch the weight they pull. I wouldnt really recommend riding a minature, but the final decision is upto you.

  • @Mybabyfurbie hi again soz. how many hands is penny and do you ride her with a saddle as well

  • @moocow7799 , dont worry, Penny is 10.3hh, yes she has a saddle but my arse is too large, i *spill* over the sides lol, but if you wish to see there is a video on penny alone somewhere on here

  • @Mybabyfurbie thankyou soo much youve been really helpful! thanks :)

  • hehhe oww bless this is so cute x ur feet are like on the ground xx luv it :P xx

  • This made me laugh, what a lovely little pony though (:
