  • Come to OKC!!!! bump that thing to a 210cc get a dual plane manifold some thumper thumpers go crazy!!!!!

  • Cant run a camshaft like this in Caliifornia, Ca is sorry like that.

Livin in Ca you gotta smog everything after 1974, even new cars that dont need fuckin smog.

Why does a brand new car need to be smoged while under warranty?

Ca is a money hungry mother fucker, and you cant run hi-performance auto parts.

  • Where ya from in OK? I am from OKC Metro area.

  • Alternator noise could pass for a charger, sad but you can't make boost like that homes. Cam specs?

  • very nice truck.I'm building an 88,cowl hood roll pan 18" coys 3-5 drop.could you e-mail me some photos?

  • do you get any emission control problems or check engine light in a truck like this with a cam like that

  • @Trickphlow instead of a timing chain he has a gear

  • Power brakes still worked okay? Or did you have to install a vaccum reservoir? Im working on a 91 chevy with a 383 build, was looking into the comp cams. They say there a very streetable cam. Sounds good man!

  • Just curious, where did you get your roll pan from? Is it bolt on? I've got a roll pan for my chevy and i was just wondering.

  • nice valve covers

  • @madtownmadman why not just buy aftermarket intake and tb and a tuner ... make alot more go for the same dough

  • @fordboy111591

Read about the stock heads and then ask the same question

  • @fordboy111591 are u dumb get your shit together 193 heads no way

  • Comment removed

  • y would u go from tbi to carb kinda defeats the purpose of gainin power

  • Sounds good what mufflers u got? i just put headers on my 94 chevy truck now need mufflers

  • what is your initial timing at? i have same cam and it seems to like 24 degrees initial..

  • holy shit ur truck is amazing looks good sounds great done it btw what kind of tail lights are those

  • euro brand

  • California emissions SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!! Live anywhere else you get to do cool shit to your motor.California thinks its saving the world!

  • california can't change the whole world.

  • until they get ride of all the fags in california, they wont be doing anything

  • @drn522

    your problem has one solution

    move to texas, lol

  • @mex55 or better yet move to alabama :)

  • @chronictoker1

    that works too, :)

  • @drn522

have you tryed typing "california emmisions" in the youtube search box?

    then try google search,

For guys like you and myself we'll need to find something pre-smog. I think pre smog cars are funner anyways, problem is people are hanging on to them.

I actually want to pre-smog vechicles, 1 for everyday driver, and 1 muscle car/truck.

Fuck giving Ca any more of my money

  • @drn522 same with oregon!

  • @drn522

Save your money and go pre-emmision rather then trying to hot-rod your late model which needs smog testing every 2years. I did, I was about to poor about $5k into my 1994 GMC, TBI 350. I was going to build a 383 and pray to pass emissions, Then I camr across a nice 1973 Chevy C10, shortbed, stepside w/ 0.030 454, TH400, and 12 bolt rear. This way you have an everyday driver, and a weekend cruiser/muscle truck, or whatever you want.

  • Awesome, I would totally have done this to my 95 Chevy if it wasn't for fucking emissions.

  • here in Massachusetts, only 96 and newer vehicles need emissions, you should check yours out

  • Maryland is bullshit. I still gotta do emissions tests every year.

  • gotta love the sound of a nice choppy cam

  • Yup, sounds good! I have the largest one in mine but I went with the Flowmaster 44's and I'm not impressed with them.. Mine is now very well tuned with the carb and will roast the tires by just mashing the pedal (no brake torque required).

  • You did that truck right man. She sounds sexy as hell! I'm gettin a Thumpr cam soon, check out my tahoe maybe you can give me a couple pointers.

  • How much vaccume do you have at idle? I have the big mutha thumpr roller version in my sbc and it only has 5to 6 inches of vaccume. Did you have any issues tunning your carb to this cam and any off idle bogs? Nice truck man Chevy rules.

  • Im going to say around yours but im going to install a vaccum tank as well pretty cheap. As far as the carb goes it was a long drawn out mess of adjusting but we had several issues and ended up not nunning the ele. choke it was becoming a problem it was boging the motor all the time. the cam is nice makes pretty good power everybody told me to go with a different one but im glad I stuck with my pick LOVE the IDLE!!!!!!!

  • Question how much of a pain is it to go from TBI to CARB?

  • lots of time involved but well worth it.

  • @cdm2034 would u consider using that cam for a daily driver?

  • @illbreakurface This cam is very streetable make sure you get a vaccum gauge so you can use ur power brakes. Its a eye catching cam

  • @Bornn368 pretty much switch everything from computer to mechanical

  • Great sounding truck, what model thumpr cam is that?

  • The 2nd one its called the mutha thumpr the first is a thumpr then mine then a big mutha thumpr

  • Sounds awesome! Now, post a burnout video so ap72 and his plethera of camshaft knowlege can tell you how you could have laid 6 more inches of rubber with a more mild cam. Oh hold it...im sure he is building an engine, beacuse you know he is quite an experienced engine builder......hahahahahahahaha

  • Nice job bro!
