Very nice. That little truck can go places that my 2500HD will not fit . There is an advantage of a short wheel base.

Thanks. Before this was the 4X4RV it is today it was my stock 1980 hilux 4x4 longbed . What a little goat, I remember taking up ATV Trails here in the Kootenays. Its a little under powered but slow and steady and you'll get there and more importantly back!

Very nice custom build. Excellent craftmanship! I have owned many Toyota Chinooks and this custom 4x4 Chinook with the solid front axle is a ultimate expedition vehicle. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

Thank you! I love how simple these older Toyota s are. Built to last and Built to be worked on by normal people with normal tools. I am currently working on the interior of this rig, which i will be posting a video of it when I complete. Right now the paint on the cab is Tremclad semi gloss white so if I get scratched up in the bush I can pull a can out of the tool box and seal it back up. I do own two more Chinooks and I plan on building another as soon as this one is all done
