i actually did a study on bmi in highschool and it is a very poor indicator of health.. it can only give u a good "size" in terms of weight... but common sense would tell you even skinny people who eat poorly have health problems like diabetes [nick from the jonas brothers has diabetes], high cholesterol and it puts u at high risk for obesity when you're older and ur metabolism isnt as good as well as your immune system

what if you're not used to running? how can you run for 5 mins, won't that like burst your heart? lol cuz i have tried running for just about 30 secs and.. well it wasn't HARD to catch my breath when i stopped but for about a minute and a half i felt like i was on the edge of an asthma attack! lol im more of a brisk walker and running makes me run out of breath so i doubt i can do it for 5 whole minutes... what should i do?
definately work yourself up to it... but if u feel u can push urself a little bit do it... as long as its not painful... if 3.5 speed and 5 dont work for ya start out with a 2 and a 3.5 and see how that works out for you.. lemme know how it goes =]

OMG I was about to this same thing. However, I disagree with you. Some people are simply naturally skinny. I have friends who eat like a horse and their weight gain is none existent and they are not active. So some people are simply blessed in that way.

OMG I was about to this same thing. However, I disagree with you. Some people are simply naturally skinny. I have friends who eat like a horse and their weight gain is none existent and they are not active. So some people are simply blessed in that way.
