  • heyy did you really learn this in 20 minutes :?? annd more important - can you make a vid tutorial

  • What I don't understand is how anyone would vote a dislike in this video :|

  • how long did it take you to memeorize the scramble in reverse>

  • u were so happy at the end!lol

  • Fucking A, man

Fridrich Blind is some crazy stuff...

  • cool site....just solved rubiks cube there it was fun...

  • cool.

  • Nice.

  • your website is awsome. i did my first speed bld today! thank you so much

  • That's not your actuall time cuz the rule of BLD

is start timing when you're inspecting (memorizing).

But you started when you started cubing..

  • Correct, that's "the rule of BLD."

This is not regular BLD, it's speed BLD.

  • Lol. that is not a world record. But nice try. You said yourself you studied it for 20 minutes. Examination is apart of the time for world records... But nice solve tho.

  • Well, it's not a world record anymore... but it was an UWR when I did it.

Do you know what speed BLD is?

  • Comment removed

  • holy tits that was fast calm down bra

  • LOL. It's easy.. U just scrambled it so you easy could solve it.... when you started you were only about 40 moves from the solved cube ... LOL LOL LOL

  • LOL. It's so obvious. U just commented on this so easy to attack me... when you posted, you didn't know anything about the rubix cube ... LOL LOL LOL

  • @rapide94 Why would you start 40 moves away when any cube can be solved in 20 moves or less?

  • usually, you do the memorization while already starting the timer, and then you do the solve.

Good Job! I'm still trying to do a 2x2 blindfold lol.

  • Yes, that's usually what I do. But that's not speed BLD. ;-)

  • O_O OMG

  • nice job!!!

  • If you don't appreciate, don't comment.

  • my cousin wrote this. not me.

  • yeah thats a bad way to cover it.

  • how do u solve the animated....man u should hav put it in a solved puzzle

  • There's no spazzing at the end of the animated reconstruction =[ :P

  • Hmm, I'm not sure you were blindfolded, because at the start you could see your eyes.

  • Nevermind that please.

  • whoa whoa whoa mr.daniel tennett...did you say that traced each piece mentally????...i doubt that

  • *Tammet

  • haha....

  • great solve!

  • thats not the world record if you memorize the cube for 20 minuets.

  • Get your articles right.

(And by the way, by now it's a former world record.)

  • i thought it was a regular blindfolded solve but the record for a speedcube sole is 11.88 seconds.

  • i thought it was a regular blindfolded solve but the record for a speedcube solve is 11.88 seconds.

  • that's not the point.. you try blindsolving a cube with fridrich..

  • Way to shake the table, lol

  • wow, thats great! i cant even start to solve a cube BLD... :(

  • Aweosme.

  • Lucas you need to stopbeing better than me at cubing:P

  • Sweet.

  • Well, it would be the sum total of the memorization plus solving phase. I guess your time should be 20 minutes+

  • nice man nice.

  • lmfao dude i want to see u do that on the international competition... if u really did memorize and solve blindfolded.. then ok wow tht was amazing but.. lol 18 sec? i heard world record didnt even go near the 30 second level

  • I would be very happy to do speed BLD at a WCA competition, if it were an official event again (it probably will be back in a few years, at least months). And the world record does go near the 30 second level (especially since we're talking unofficial here).

  • Matyas Kuti owns you by a wide margin...like 20 mins?

  • Nah, I think I beat him in memo by a bit. In terms of execution, he beats me by, like, one second (!=20 mins).

  • joyoskater who cares he got better than u can and its in 18 seconds.

  • Who cares if someone else got it better. k3ntairulz, unless you yourself can do it better, just shut up. You clearly don't understand that friendly competition isn't about being the best, it's about improving your own abilities.

  • wow, i have to study the cube for like 5 minuetes before i start. my best blindfold time is 58 seconds. nothing specail but i like myself for at least being able to

  • Thats how i felt when i got my first sub-20 :)

  • OMFG!!! congrats you beat your record

  • what is your record???

  • im only learning to do a rubicks cube,i know all the algorithims now but my rubicks is broken so i dont really have a record yet, cant wait to get a new one

  • lol, good job Lucas. I was like at the end when I got my first sub-20 xD

  • where do u get one of those timers??i want one

  • go to speedstacksDOTcom

you should be able to buy a timer there

  • lol whatever

  • oh my god joyoskater is right look at it when its on the desk after he picks it up...

  • joyoskater fuck you lier noob he did it in 18:04 seconds exacly

  • lol the ending is funny

  • How the hell wud he no wen its complete to stop the timer?

  • He memorizes every turn to solve it. If you go to his page, garron. us he has a guide explaining it.

  • he didnt do it

    look at :40

it shows a green row at the top and under the 3rd green square its orange...

but you have to pause it to see

  • If being a nerd means being able to imprint dozens of combinations in your head, well then it's just a sad world we've come to.

  • I feel sorry for your ass Dance because unlike you who's hooking waist size 36 chicks at your bar this kid is likely to hook some quality ass because he has this thing called talent, generally people pay people allot of money if they have talent at something, and we all know chicks go for money more then dicks which judging by the way your so quick to bring someone else down for something you cant do, yours is probably only 6 inches anyway.

  • he didnt do it

    look at :40

it shows a green row at the top and under the 3rd green square its orange...

but you have to pause it to see

  • I saw it but I think it's just the lighting. when he puts it back down again you can see that there's no orange - it's all yellow. and it doesn't look like it was editted in any way while he was jumping up and down w/ the cube in his hand

  • DanceFeelMusic, I feel sorry for your's too - it takes one to know one!:P

  • i feel sorry your nerdy ass.

  • The only problem in all of these vidoes is that there's never anything to totally prove that people didn't just memorise the cube and then pretend to solve it. I'm not accusing you of cheating, this video is great, I'm just saying that unless it's a video of an official competition or something, don't expect people to believe you.

  • Haha, I love how happy you were when you solved it. I'm a complete idiot with that kind of stuff. Extremely impressive.

  • LMAO cheatz0rz

  • still isnt a world record you moron

  • He never said it was. But btw it is WR. Look it up on speedcubing . com record site.

There are two blindfolded categories, one which includes memorization and like this solve which excludes it.

  • world record for blinfolded is like 19 seconds or something

  • Were you happy with that time? You didn't show it in any way! :)

  • PWN3D!

  • Awesome man. Way to go.

  • the world record includes the time to memorize it mate :P so 21 minutes is not close :P

  • Uh, are you retarded? He's doing a speed blindfold solve, you don't time the memorization you idiot, only the solve. Basic blindfolded is where they time the memorization as well.

  • u do time the memorization actually, the timer starts the second u start studyin it

  • exactly, the timer is meant to start when u start to study it, so bad luck chum

  • No, you guys don't get it. This is a speed blindfold solve. You time only the execution of the resolution. The method of solution is completely different from where you do a basic blindfolded. He's using a layer by layer method, whereas a regular blindfold solve calls for a 3-cycle method, or piece-by piece.
