This song and Guld's extended fight/death sequence are the only reasons to get the movie, but both are good enough reasons (the movie cuts a lot of the OVA material out) The only instance where I can think of buying a compilation and the originals

@inphanta this was only in the movie version of the 4 oav's (or OVA, whatever is your preference) , the first soundtracks were more or less released based off the OAVs. The Movie came out later. So there is a soundtrack called Macross Plus Original Soundtrack Plus - for fans only, which has it.

I'm not even sure what language the lyrics are; some of it sounds Japanese, but other parts could be French or some language that doesn't use the Japanese alphabet. Still, it's one of Yoko Kanno's finest songs, and, as much great music as she's written, that's saying a lot.
