Get these three parts. Kidd bolt buffer, Kidd or Valquartson extractor, and fire pin. Easy to replace and worth the investment. If you want replace the entier trigger assembly with a Valquartson GT 2000 if you have the money. Other then that do the auto bolt release mod and you wont have to worrie about having to push the bolt latch to close the bolt.
I was looking at a 10/22. I have Mossberg 702 Plinkster atm and I don't think it's as good of a rifle as the 10/22 plus it has the ugly clip like ur old Remington :P
hey why dont you consider getting a bull barrel with a bit more length so you can reach out a little further with more accuracy? You will be able to challenge yourself hitting out past 120yrd easily. Midwayusa has a bunch of accessories you might want to cosider if you really want to push a little "sniper" platform. Have fun man looks like your starting a fun little addiction. Good luck.
I would suggest some shorter rings on the scope to get a better cheek weld. Also a scope with a little less zoom would allow shots at shorter ranges, which allows more versatility. Other than that a nicer stock, a trigger job, tuning of the action, and a new bull barrel would create a much more accurate rifle.

could you be more specific about how u mounted that bipod? i want to put a bipod on mine (I have the exact same 10 22). Ive tried the barrel band with the rail and when its tightened the rail isnt exactly horozontal. and i really dont want to buy a tactical stock. thanks
looks just like mines except i painted the stock krylon camo brown and added a blackhwak cheekrest so i could see thru the scope better, next on my list is a bullbarel and houge overmold stock, but yah do the auto bolt mod that was pretty much the first mod i did to it when i first got the gun, super easy you could use a dremel or a file
