  • Hello, I bought a helicopter shaung ma 9100 and the stabilizers beat with the carapace and broke the carapace but keep flying normal, the following day i went to blow up the helicopter and it doesn't fly but the inside all is fine and the settlement??

  • My Silverlit helicopter has something stuck in its tail rotor's engine, I think it's a hair. It doesn't spin very well. I don't wanna do something myself because I'm afraid I could damage something. Does anybody know what to do? Just reply.

  • @HardRock471 don't be afraid to pull the hair out with some tweezers or a needle, just be careful and you shouldn't break the wires.

You can take off the tail blade if it makes it easier.

  • @taoistflyer But I can't see the hair

  • @HardRock471 Hi, if the hair is around the axle, then gently pull off the back rotor, then wipe you fingers up the axle. Then put the rotor back on.

If the hair is INSIDE the motor, i'm not quite sure. You could look for any screws around the motor, undo them, and try to open it up and take the hair out.

    I hope this helps.

  • omg i just bought my s107 and the top blades arent even...!!!1 plz help me!!!!!!!!!!!! if you can help me please respond so i can make "video response" :(

  • @matrixmatem check the gears, are the small ones still their, does the bottom rotor spin.

  • @taoistflyer hey man nice tutorial my friend found this vid and showed to me because my rc heli is broken the lower blades wont spin its like and mini eagle only re-painted im afraid to open it because it has metal around the gears please reply i love flying this baby its so elegant and balanced tnx

  • @RANKO619 it's either a bad motor bad connection or bad gear, you may need to open it up to figure it out.

  • @taoistflyer Hi I bought a Litehawk helicopter yesterday it was extremely easy to control and everything was working perfectly until i crashed it..the trouble is that when i turn left or right it doesnt turn smooth it just start turning really fast and the left-right adjustment has become extremely sensitive theres no way i can set it perfectly..I can fly but has soon has I want to turn it starts spinning really fast..the thing is that there is absolutely NO damage at all?! Any Idea? Thanks

  • @StKetoiL maybe the gyro if it has one was damaged, or maybe their is something that isn't broken but that is slightly off center messing up the gyro.

  • I have a buzzfly that im in the process of repairing,Ive noticed that the tail motor revs up and down of its own accord,do you know what this coulld be?Thanks.

  • @jakethefreak1 maybe the tail wire is over soldered onto something else, or maybe software or interference.

  • @TheSpsycho Glad we could help, stay tuned for more contests reviews and free scale paper airplanes.

  • @TheSpsycho That sounds like the center of gravity is off, like maybe something inside the case shifted, maybe the battery came loos and is further forward then it should be.

you can put weight on the back of the helicopter to change the center of gravity or you can try to figure out what changed by opening it up.

  • Where do you buy your helicopters? i really like the one your using as a demonstation in this vid.

  • @Xmarksthespot1231 It was a syma helicopter that I picked up from x heli.

  • May be a bit of an irrelevant comment, but isn't the music in the background a preset off the korg EMX-1?

  • @taoistflyer wow great tutorial, thank you very much! However, on a related question, would you happen to have an idea why my RC remote on my viper RC chopper, is no longer syncing up with my aircraft? It never seems to establish a connection with any of the RC vehicles, the light will blink on channels A and B and will stay solid on C but no aircraft responds at all to the inputs.

  • @masterthehero it should respond on one of the channels, it may have to do with if you turn on the the heli or the transmitter first. their may be powerful IR interference around. then again it could be a much larger problem like a motor wire is disconnected.

  • i have a silver bullet and it has the same problem but i dont have another gear.............so where do i get one?

  • @0Mrjoshua You may have to try your local hobby shop, or try to glue the broken tooth on the gear.

  • hey can u help me i tried to charge my heli with usb after tht it is not switchng on can u help is there problem in battery or something but i actually charge my battery with the remote rply plzz

  • @karanpokemon Make sure the battery wires aren't disconnected, the solder may have melted and try charging through the transmitter again. lithium batteries are easy to damage and the heli may need to be replaced.

  • @taoistflyer thnks for the the advice

  • Theres a problem im having with my RC helicopter. Its a 3 channel helicopter BTW. I would fly it like normal and it flies normal but all of the sudden it would fall like a rock. And then when I speed up it would speed up just a little and then it would speed up all the way. And the battery of both the transmiter and helicopter is full. Is that interferance or is it th gyro?

  • Thank you for the video. I just got a Silver Fox R/c Helicopter, which keeps spinning on the ground and does not fly. I tired to spin the blades as suggested with finger. The lower blade spins smoothly and the Higher Blade (Bigger Motor ??) does not rotate at all when pushed with fingers. It stays firm and rigid and when forcibly rotated, I hear a click and high resistance. However with remote, the blade seems to rotate just fine and seems to rotate with enough speed. Please can you advice.

  • and i also have an air archon a helicopter with 2 rotors and only has throttle up and down:what is happening is that when they are fully charged, the transmitter and the helicopter it doesnt fly.i dont know y because after a month it broke.but im afraid that the transmitter is the problem cause it has brown stuff where the batteries connect to the remote or either because i once crashed it into the wall oh and by the way i also have the same problem like irproz1 with my 3 ch heli

  • are u teofledermas

  • @nathanielmccaughtry not that I know of but I may be Tyler Durden sleep surfing without knowing it.

  • i have a wow wee dragonfly and doesn`t seem to take off or it takes off and after 5 seconds it falls to the ground.even if i give it full throttle it takes off and lands immediatly.PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MegaLukikuki it sounds like it doesn't have enough power, the batteries can go bad over time or if improperly discharged or charged, my dragon fly lasted about 8 months but then started having trouble getting into the air because the battery.

  • How do I fix my rc cloud force u-control helicopter i charged it about 3-4 minutes over time and I turned the controller off and it was still hovering ???????

  • @1deathbysniper If you turn off the transmitter and it keeps running turn the transmitter back on and point it directly at the heli and raise and lower the throttle. sometime when you turn off the transmitter it just thinks it lost the signal and keeps doing what it was told to last until it gets another signal or 3 or 4 seconds goes by without a signal, then it shuts off.

  • Is there any store that sells these gears? I just got my first rc helicopter today and it has this problem after a few bad crashes, so I don't have another heli I can take a gear from. I looked at all the extra parts that are included for repairs, but there are no replacement gears.

  • @bfmv927 I would also like to know where I can get extra gear parts. My Swann rc is missing the small gear part that works the lower blade. the video shows the gear that I need in your hand. anyone who knows that answer... I appreciate your help.

  • @jbass3544 your local hobby shop may carry them, but you may just have to scavenge it from another toy.

  • @bfmv927 your local hobby shop may carry them, the gears are pretty common to find in toys of all shapes.

  • Got a FL666 3-channel for Christmas. Immediately noticed that the manufacturer had no command over English; the translations in the manual were incomprehensible. The box had a large dent in it, but the copter seemed fine until I tried flying it.

After an hour of trying, it looks like the bottom rotor has a lot of resistance, but I can't get the cover off to get to the motor due to copious amounts of metal attached to the shell. Also, even if I do get into the case, I have no gears. Any advice?

  • @flaillomanz some people have had luck with putting a layer of glue on the gear to fix the crack and then shaving off the exes.

  • hi, i have a avatar z008 4 channel, and he don't fly, it seems that is too heavy, how can i fix it?

  • @ALEXX1X2X3 make sure all the rotors spin and the motors spin and if all else fails pull off some weight,

  • @taoistflyer i think that is the lower rotor, the gear seems to be clicking :S

  • can you please help me i have a ah-64 rc helicopter and i flew it outside and it lost control in the air and smashed. Now when it is fully charged the top propellor only spins and the bottom one dosen't and if i give full throttle the whole thing will stop completely can u please help me

  • @irproz1 check all your gears and shafts, you'll need to pull the helicopter apart.

When you open it up see if both motors spin or if you damaged one of the motors. if so it may be the bad motor that is causing the helicopter to shut off. replacing parts like motors and batteries on $30 and $40 helicopters may be more trouble and expens then buying a new helicopter but taking it apart will give you some good experience in rc helicopters.

  • Hi, I recently got a mini rc heli with a 130mAh LiPo Battery, I wonder if its possible to put a higher capacity battery without damaging the helicopter? I read somewhere else about batteries having internal circuits. Is it true? Pls help, thanks.

  • @Josh901109 Some batteries have internal circuits to protect it during charging.

If you want a higher capacity battery ( one that will last longer) then you want it to have the same voltage but a higher mAh ratting.

Usually a higher mAh battery is a little bigger.

  • @taoistflyer I see, my original one is a 130 mAh 3.7v unit, would a 180mAh 3.7v unit work well with my heli?

  • @Josh901109 it should work, but it might be a heavier or larger battery so you may need to modify the battery compartment a little bit.

  • @taoistflyer Thanks, and keep up the good work, love your channel too :)

  • hllo my helicopter has a other problem. Now its leaning to the left its a 4 chanel fixed pitch can you help me plz

  • @vancat2009 is it during takeoff or all the time, you may want to check your push rods or control mechanism, also check your center of gravity.

  • @taoistflyer yes its during takeoff

  • @taoistflyer HI! I have the first havoc heli & I wanted to know if you know a place that sales a battery for it or website I got one but it still lacks power, what im trying to say so the battery doesn't have the power to make the heli fly high.

  • @fedupdeliveryservice It is hard to find a direct replacement. Air hogs uses different batteries then most people so you would need to get some other 3.7 volt lithium battery that you could maybe charge on a wall charger instead of charging it in the helicopter, it would take some cutting into the heli. and you'd need a new charger but it could be dun, but for the same amount of money you could almost buy a better 3 ch heli.

  • @taoistflyer thanks i did open up the heli & put a new battery in it, but it just don't have the power to make the heli fly higher I thank I messed up the lipo battery by using rechargeable battery to charge the heli well thanks i have other helis & i going to try a find another battery for it

  • hello,my 4 channel fixed pitch helicopter vibrates alot like alot can you help me plz

  • @vancat2009 Look up "RC helicopter blade tracking" your blades also may be off center or un balanced, check all the screws and don't be afraid to take it apart, just don't loose anything or forget where it goes.

  • Comment removed

  • It matches with my problem and work perfectly.

  • @certoemail I'm glad it helped, thanks for watching and stay tuned for more.

  • I have that same chinook you have and the two looped end thing broke off and i cant find it, is there any way to repair it?

  • @MrALIENSVSPREDATOR you'll need to make a new push rod from a light weight piece of wire like the wire from a bread twist tie or something like that, as long as it is the same length as the other one you still have and not to much heavier it should work with a little tweaking.

  • sure enough while I can't spot any damage to the gear, it does have some clicking like properties. So is it the big or little gear hmmmmm =) I think at this point its going to be spare parts for my syma s107. I'll keep around, its just a syma clone anyways.... best vid I've seen yet for trying to fix spinning helis.

  • @PyR0Star it's usually just one tooth with a crack in it, if you check each tooth you may find the broken one nd be able to glue it back down.

  • @taoistflyer Well after close inspection, I had no broken teeth. I've decided to use the componets to make a grenade launcher on my s107 instead. This was a syma brand, likely a clone from compusa. Hopefully the 3.7v is enough to work with the classic xmas light igniter inside a pen =) sub!

  • @PyR0Star That sounds like a bad ass mod, that's what rc is all about, making an aircraft your own and having fun while doing it

  • @taoistflyer found out a plain old AA battery 1.5v works so 3.7v will be just fine! Both the RC's are infrared, and both heli's did not work at all with the other controller. (even on same channel) So I'm confident it will work, using 2 controllers, I will fly and a friend can use the other controller to fire at a target. I can't believe all the awesome RC stuff they are coming out with, Revolution Coming! RC.

  • @PyR0Star Try to post some video of it if you can.

  • theres a execuheli in the lower left corner

  • Thanks I try that

  • Mine spin in the air but it is very small height..and the heli turns of every time the heli goes down....what do I do...please respond

  • @killerforlife100 first look for hairs stuck on the rotors or broken gears.

check the tail rotor make sure it isn't cracked. check your battery, make sure it is charged properly. make sure their is no interference from sunlight or bright lights when flying.

  • what if..the lower rotor does not spin but the Upper Rotor spins just fine?

  • @deftpony18 check the gears, make sure they haven't slid off, also check the motor wires. spin the motor and see if it gives any resistance.

  • This happens to my S066...Is it the same 3ch system?

  • @gtacds I'm not familiar with that one but it is probably like most 3 channel helicopters, and most of them can suffer from this problem.

  • I have a helicopter called HAWK Talon V2 and it wont take off it spins slowly to the left and only get a few inches off the ground and I'm at full power what do I do?

  • @Austin9978com check your gears. make sure they all spin without obstruction or resistance, if it isn't a gear problem it may be a battery problem, the battery may need to be charged properly. If you charge it a few times and it still doesn't have power you may need to cycle the battery. That means you run the helicopter at low power for about 5 or 6 minutes to run the battery down and then recharge it so it gets a good charge. Don't discharge it all the way down though, just most of the way, 3V

  • @taoistflyer I have a s929 helicopter and i found out that one tooth in the gears chipped of so the upper rotor doesnt spin as fast, i have tried to fix the chipped tooth on the gear/wheel but nothing works, any ideas on how to fix it???? thanx

  • @cube101010 i've heard of people covering the broken part of the gear with epoxy, then when it dries they file it down to the right size of the broken tooth. you can sometimes find replacement gears online.

  • @taoistflyer thanks, i have fixed my gear but ... while doing so i ripped both of the wires out of the lower generator lol. i guess ill just go change it and get a new one. :)

  • @Austin9978com i have pretty much the same helicopter and i found out that one of the teeth in the gears chipped, thats probably the problem. advice, dont try to fix it (sell it and get new one) because you will ruin it even more by ripping wires out, they are very thin and weak.

  • @cube101010 it's good to keep them around for spare parts.

  • my rc helicoper is going in circles aroung it dosen't spin

  • Hey I have a TT998 heli and it worked fine yesterday but today the bottom blades dont move what do I do?

  • @Risingly check the gears and make sure they didn't slip off. make sure their isn't anything stuck on the shaft.

  • @Risingly u get a new one lol jk bro

  • if any one has the BR6008. tell me how you change the channels!

  • What if your helicopter blades don't click or give tension but it still doesn't fly good.

  • @crazyborgyboyno1 it could be a batter issue, lithium batteries can be damaged if over discharged or not properly charged, i would say cycle the battery, run them for a few minutes at a lower power, then re charge it with fresh batteries, discharge and recharge again. don't completely discharge the battery though it can damage the battery, just run it till it seams like it's getting low hen re charge it.

  • Will slightly scratched/chipped rotor blades affect your flying ?

I have a heliblaster from silverlit and I have the impression that it flies less straight after it suffered some wing scratches.

    Thanks in advance ;)

  • @SoLUnlimited It can affect flight but you would be surprised, a heli can fly with cracked blades that have been glued back together, but if pieces are missing from the blades it will affect the balance between the 2 rotors. these are tiny helicopters so little imperfections can make a big difference, but you can trim a lot of it out.

  • Hi my RC helicopter keeps going out of control even when I let go of the control stick

  • that puts a pentagram and a candle?

  • This video is a great help for all rchelicopterflyers!

I have a syma S106 (the newer version of the s008) but I have to trim it a lot to the left side... And when I press the stick to fly straight forward, it goes forward, but also to the left side.

Could this be the same problem as with the s008?

  • @trickytimmmmm it sounds more like a blade torque/imbalance between the 2 rotors, but probably not caused by a cracked gear, it may be that one of the rotors is not tracked properly, (meaning one blade is spinning higher then the other, look up rc helicopter blade tracking) causing extra torque.

you may be able to bend and monkey around with the rotors until they are both in track.

  • @taoistflyer Thanks for your answer! I found the problem.. The connect buckle was fitted improperly..

  • i just bought the cloud control RC helicopter and i replaced a broken wing and it's not flying straight anymore... i tried this but that wasn't the problem

  • hi i just bought a phantom 6010 with gyro from hongkong yesterday. it worked fine at first but after 10mins. the upper blade with the balancer seems loose and it doesnt spin when i start the my rc heli. is there a way to fix that? thanks

  • @Ferjon03 the gear may have simply slid off so that it spins freely instead of meshing with the other gear, take a look at the gears and make sure they are still touching.

  • @taoistflyer Thank you sir! its working now.

  • Ok I have a helicopter that is a bit bigger and it wobbles a lot can you help at all please i would love it my grampa gave it to me it is like 100$please help

  • I broke my Air Hogs havoc heli main rotor......Can it be replaced and how. please reply.

  • I hv a duel rotor heli with a tail rotor that gives it forward and back movement, my problem is everytime i make change in power on the throttle i hv2 adjust the trim, so I end up adjusting the trim constantly. I this just something I need to deal with or is there a fix?

  • @budyzr63 this is common on less expensive coaxial helicopters without gyros, you have to manually correct for a lot of things.

  • Mine Has Ropes Shall I Cut The Ropes Off?

  • the tail rotor of my helicopter has stopped moving completly and i cant go foward or back now. everything else is fine but that....is there a way to fix that?

  • @zorroisawes0me1 check the wires and make sure they are still connected to the motor and the circuit board.

  • My lower wings spin good and strong but my top wings don't. The weight on the very top is fine , it just seems to be the thing on the shaft holding the wings that's bent. It's the syma s107 rc helicopter and it's brand new only flew for about five 5 minute periods before carefully charging, I've not crashed it and it's not the battery , WTF ... Please help

  • the gears (probally the stupidest thing I could've done), anyhow after taking off the top two blades quite easily might I add, I noticed the small rod that controlled the top two blades, I tried to rotate that with my fingers it worked fine, I then used my remote control without the top two blades attached and the gears were spinning and everything, but I noticed the bottom gears/cogs stopped almost immediatly, if anyone can help me out that'd be great, merry christmas everyone

  • @RonJosueCas it may be how the 2 gears mesh together, if the small gear on the motor shaft is to close or to far away from the larger gear they can grind and sometimes stick , sometimes the small gear is sliding off the motor shaft a little bit and sometimes it's just to far away from the gear, sometimes the gear teeth are actually messed up and cracked or to small, and sometimes it's just a disconnected motor wire.

  • I just got mine for christmas worked fine I got scared when I came close to the wall and I stopped paying attention to my pressure (i'm a begginer at this), anyhow after the crash my top two blades stopped rotating, my bottom blade is working fine, I looked up a quick fix for this they said to tighten the main gears by pushing down the rotor shaft (me being technically handicap I wasn't sure what this was or what this is for that matter) I tryied to just push the top of the helicopter down onto

  • I believe I have a broken shaft. I can hear the motor running but the main rotor isn't spinning in fact it will fall out if the heli is inverted. Is there a fix for this?

  • my lower wings wont spin, but my upper wings do. what should I do? i know its not a battery problem because the upper wings spins really fast like normal.

  • @getampedtutorials It might be broken shaft if you had crushed into something. See if the motor is spinning and the blade is not.

  • What if there is no clicking with the gears?

  • @NuggetsOfRivendell then it could be a battery issue.

  • i flied mine into the christmas tree :(

  • so ive bought a couple of mini helis... and have tried the control sticks with just the pads of my thumbs and thumb and first finger... which do you find easier? i find that my hand goes numb after a while while using the pads of my thumbs, but a little easier to control the heli. i find that my hands are more comfortable but tend to over correct at times with the other method.

  • @shane95670 I always use 2 fingers, i started as a thumb user, but I got tired of my fingers slipping off the controls especially during hard core aerobatics, when you grip them with 2 fingers they don't slip and they don't get as numb. Most of the pro fliers like Alan Szabo are 2 finger users.

  • @taoistflyer so another question, i bought the air hogs cruiser. personally, i think its just an alright beginners heli being a 2 channel. when i change it from cruise mode to flight mode, as it takes off, it spins in a clockwise circle but once it gets about 1-2 feet off the ground, it tends to stable out a little. and also i think that the counter clockwise directional stick is a little haywire.

  • @shane95670 Instabilities are like stars in the sky, day or night they are always their, you can use them to your advantage if you know what they are, or you can let them take control of you and slam you where they will.

These little helis are getting better all the time, the new pocket copter from air hogs really has a lot of advancements from their previous models . Usually the trick is not to trim it to fly straight, rather you trim it so the left and right turns are at equal speeds.

  • @shane95670

  • @taoistflyer i personally dont like the 2 channel as a beginner and find the 3 channel jackal a little easier to control. any suggestions?

  • @shane95670 2 channel aircraft really are just toys, their is almost always going to be some sort of instability that you can't get rid of. 3 channels are better and I do love my new 3 channel ufo, but it's still missing the all important roll, and roll is golden, with roll yaw forward and reverse and thrust you can maintain a stable hover, and stable forward flight.

  • @osamaBinladin34 You could probably make it out of stacks of glued paper cut into a wheal shape.

  • this is a great vid but my problem is that on my helicopter it lifts up in the air and the body of the helicopter spins like crazy while staying in the same place and on my controller there is no way of adjusting it so it spins so much the 2 blades hit eash other and the helicopter crashes

  • hey, how could i repair my helicopter so this is wat happen i was playing my helicopter after i got home then i fly my helicopter so high then i was too scared to handle my helicopter then it crashed then the propheler of the back helicopter was not spinning but the front propheler is still spinning

  • @101nazgul The tail motor may be broken

if the motor is broken it will need to be replaced, but it may also be that a wire from the motor broke off of the circuit board, if that's the case you may be able to solder it back on.

you need to spin the tail motor with your hand and see if it spins freely or if it feels like their is something clicking inside (broken motor).

also you may need to open up the helicopter and look at all the wires, replacement tail motors are pretty easy to find.

  • I could fix it without replacing the gear. Most of the time, the gear cracked and the jaws were uneven. I would just take out the gear, cut it in half, opposite of the other crack. Then I would epoxy it back together, and then clean the hole, and file the motor shaft a bit, then a bit of epoxy on it and push the gear back (after epoxy cured). I end up with a working gear that was cracked. It's easier to break it in half and epoxy it back, to even the pressure so epoxy can work.

  • @oysterlicker thanks! ill give it a shot

  • @oysterlicker , thank you very much for posting your solution big thumbs up, i thought maybe a layer of epoxy could be placed over the crack and then filed down, but your idea of cutting the gear all the way is a really good one, it should help the epoxy hold better when it's glued back together.

  • Nice, great Vid Cheers!

  • @jgoudeau207 thanks friend/ sorry that my cam records all blue. kinda artsy though

  • thats a great tip to keep it flying..... i have the soo8 and i can not find a repacement battery for it.....do you have any idieas ?

  • @billgetsmail1 I haven't found one but I need to get one myself, it doesn't have to be specifically for the s008, as long as the voltage is the same and the Amp rating is close it should work fine.

  • @taoistflyer please let me know were you get one from.i want it to fly again.

  • @billgetsmail1 i got a $ 70 venom ozone. awesome heli, but i screwed up and put lego guys in the cockpit and it burnt out the tail motor. after going through 2 $15 tail motors. i decided to strip off the entire tail section. everything but the actual tube. and now its a two channel but flies awesome indoors.

  • @daveandnikki123 Very cool, I have three 2 channels, one 3 channel, two 4 channels and a 6 channel. I have twisted, tore apart, cannibalized and bought parts for all of them. I have lost the 2 channels and everything else is flying but the s008. (Three channel)I need a battery. I kept the 2 channels flying for a good long while, now there a lost cause…and the batteries are no good….

  • @taoistflyer ya if the amp rating is the same. i say go for it

  • @billgetsmail1 is it lipo or nicad?

  • @daveandnikki123 its a little 3.7 100 ma.

  • hey taoistflyer, love the vids =D. i have the same problem with my heli. unfortunately i don't have a replacement gear =(, but i do think i found the problem with my gear. it had a tiny crack between two of the spokes and it was at this point the gear was clicking. i don't know if that's what was wrong with yours, but if this is common (sounds like it is) it may need to addressed by the makers to ensure a longer life for the heli =)

  • @Thebrainrahul it is a very common problem, and it's an industry wide problem. In fact I have even seen it on brand new helicopters, I'm hopeful the industry will notice this video and fix the problem.

Plastic can be brittle, and any number of things can cause it to fracture. i need to locate an online dealer or just buy a few thousand gears myself and sell them for 10 cents each or something like that

  • @Thebrainrahul ugh. helicopters are such a money pit!!! two of mine just spin out of control and on the other the bottom blade doesnt spin. i bought extra parts but i dont know how to install them. can anyone help?

  • @daveandnikki123 rc universe and rc groups are both really good places to get answers about fixing your rc helicopter, they can be expensive, sum rc helicopters cost more then a nice car, it can be an expensive hobby.

The first time you take apart your heli is always scary, but after a while it becomes second nature.

  • @taoistflyer thanks friend

  • @taoistflyer still happens

  • great vid !!

  • Great Video And Tips On Fixing The Gear,

    I Got A Question,

Whats The Name Of The Song Right At The Very Beginning?

  • add in the beggining? lol love the fake fixing methods in the beggining XD well this is good to know for future reference!!!

  • @Idonttelllies2797 Thanks, I hope it doesn't offend anyone, this actually may be the same problem your Chinook is having, it would make sense.

  • @taoistflyer well ive tryed that, but there is no clicking in the rotors, im still thinking its the motherboard or battery :(

  • nice video. you mentioned the battery charging thingy,... my helo landed in a tree and finally 2 days later retrieved it, and am unable to charge batterry now. S106 is helo and the charging led never changes color when connecting to helo or even after an hour of trying to charge. I'm suspecting the batt in helo is damaged as it was on as it sat in tree , 40 ft in air, for 2 days?

  • @ez2curanut it probably ran all the way down while it was up their, also temperature could have greatly affected it, you will probably have trouble getting it to hold a charge, but you could probably replace the battery.

  • Nice video!

But what would we do if we doint have a spare heli lying about?

    Could we repair the gear?

Is there a retailer that sells such a small part?

  • @popcornreviews if you don't have a spare heli you may have to ask your local hobby shop if they carry the gear, it is a very common size gear, and their are millions of them out their, I am trying to locate an online retailer but it is hard, it would suck to have to buy a new motor just to get the gear.

You may be able to fix the gear but it is hard to say , I think it is usually a case of one of the teeth on the gear getting worn down and that's hard to fix.

  • @taoistflyer thanks

  • Thanks for the tip {"_*}
