  • The default key is RSAv2.

    You can have RSAv1 and DSAv2 if you specify, but RSAv2 is fine.

    I didn't know about the command to copy the key but scp works for me.

    We copied keys once to a usb file like this from each computer:

    echo ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub >> /mnt/usb/authorized_keys

    and

    cp /mnt/usb/authorized_keys ~/.ssh

    from the computer to be connected to.

    and many keys can be copied like this so many people can do passwordless login!

Open me, investigate/study me, modify me. I have seen them all.. but there is nothing like Linux! The Most Powerfull OS Ever!
