I'm thinking of trying to integrate a Neurosky Mindset into some of my patches for bits of live manipulation... How sensitive and responsive is it when using it in the Max environment, and how many parameters can you work with?
@jealieuk Well the Neurosky Mindset as you know is bluetooth and the inherent instability in that architecture makes it a bit iffy at times so it is lways better to be close and fairly immobile when integrating it with Max?msp...........
@jealieuk ctd......To get readings out of the Headset via Max you need a '.mxo' to interface with the unit. The mxo I used gave me 9 readings so they could be used to control as many parameters as you want. The Mindset is still pretty much in it's infancy but there are great developments going on with it at the moment. It is our lack of control over our brains really that limits the units power to a large extent.

You can check polynomial labs for mxo - unless someone else has done another one by now - I did this patch a wee while ago
