In the over 10 years I've been singing with the Ensemble (which is the word used to refer to Glide Church's Band and Choir), I've never heard Vernon Bush sing this version better. Well, there is the time we sang it for the whole SF Opera House (War Memorial Theater) for a fund raiser in the Fall of 2009. That was another great version, but this one moves me just a little more, because we are singing it in our house. That sanctuary has over 75 years of such spiritual devotion there. :-D
