@banger44 @43labontepetty both styles of racing have there merits and to inform you banger there are classes of racing in the US that are small track both tarmac and dirt. look up midget or sprint cars. personally i think they need to take the tires away from the wall and just have a solid concrete walls all the way round. and coming from NZ where "stock cars" are only on dirt im not a fan if the tarmac ether. but that just my opinion.

what you just described is a demolision derby. not a race. it's just in a circle, not a pit. call it a demolision derby and i'm fine with it. call it a demolision derby on a circle track. racing is trying not to take people out and it is about going fast and being dangerous. not taking anything away from the derbys but they get up to what, 25 mph at the fastest and in a stock car no less. thats not as dangerous as long as you have O.K. saftey gear. it's not racing, it's a demo derby.

NZ stockcar "classes" are much more hardcore i think than any of these, also i noticed they seem to race on tarmac??? we do it on dirt over here! but i do like the minis! that looks fun as! funny to note that a english stockcar team races every year in the NZ superstock teams champs, and they do not too bad either but i think the team members regulary race out here during our stockcar season.

HAHAHA! I love it. REAL stock car racing! I love the big tube-steel "bumpers" on the front. This is a lot like Swedish "folkrace", except on pavement. I wish they had more grass-roots stuff like this in the US. We DO have some pretty low-$ stuff here, like the "Junkyard Wars" and stockers at the track near my house (a 1/4 mile circle! LOL). I just don't get worked up about circle track racing. Driving for NASCAR does take talent; I just don't see how it's more exciting than a rally.

1: one of the classses is banger racing, that a better way of american derby's.
